Listen to what DeWine said today. Ohio Deparment of Health estimated could be as many as 100,000 cases in the state. Can’t believe this isn’t the leading headline everywhere.
Obviously the win is the biggest thing but second is Yankees bullpen is totally taxed while Tito avoided pitching Stephan, Karinchak and Clase tonight. Cherry on top.
@chrislhayes
also first governor to shut down schools. And our official case number is only 5! The difference is staggering but actions definitely seem like someone who knows there’s tons more cases. The Cleveland Clinic can now test patients on their own so hopefully we get more numbers soon
@ChrisFedor
This is a weird tweet man. Edwards has had games of 28, 20, 21, 22 and 18 in his last 8 games. Not sure what the point of the negativity is
Magic really wasted maybe the last year of LeBron’s prime so he could hold on to the Summer League MVP. If this happened in Cleveland, Gilbert and Altman would be getting absolutely destroyed.
@chrislhayes
DeWine is on top of this thing and handling it like every state should. Careful planning. Listening to experts and getting out of the way. I don’t agree with him on anything politically but that’s irrelevant now. If he was leading the country we’d be 100x better off
JR Smith - Skipped college, starter on NBA Champion, career earnings in the NBA after this contract around $100 million, 15 years in league, 12th all time in 3s made
Doug Gottlieb - 4 years playing college basketball, 0 years in NBA, 0 career $ in NBA.
JR Smith, always been crazy talented, missing some little things in his game. I think those things would have been fixed had he played at North Carolina. We skip steps, we rush the process, and this is the usual result
@BrooklynNetcast
I thought you guys were just being homers with all your Claxton love but he kicked the Cavs and Jarrett Allen’s ass tonight, coming from a Cavs fan. KD and Kyrie were obviously on fire with Warren too but Claxton was the difference to me
Cavs have it out for Mo Wagner as a team. First Garland tries to give him some shoulder after the foul by Mo, then Okoro gets the tech for unnecessary roughness.
@ReallyDanWeiner
@ColeyHarvey
I also hope the Yankees fans appreciate that he almost never played again after his injury last year. Was his celebration over the top? Sure. But the guy almost had it all taken away last year

@Giveit2urMAMBA
As a lifelong Cavs fan I’d say that your rant is mostly very wrong and he’s gonna win a lot of games for you. But if you’re expecting him to play defense in the regular season, well, I hate to break it to you, but....not happening
The Garland article that
@ChrisFedor
wrote is very good but this quote from Cavs assistant coach J.J. Outlaw is amazing. How in the world does Steve Blake make this quote?!?

I have this exact concern. I guess there are loans for businesses to use to keep these employees employed. But we can’t rely on this which is why the $1,200 should be recurring monthly during the crisis
Jose Ramirez - 130 OPS+
Yainer Diaz - 132 OPS+
Nolan Jones - 131 OPS+
Will Benson - 129 OPS+
And now Caminero called up. What a disaster.
Let’s throw Yandy’s 150+ in there too

@magi_jay
I’d normally agree with this but....not sure anyone should be putting themselves in a spot to potentially have to go to the hospital right now. Even if the chances of it happening are very low

He literally went to watch him in college. Probably the only player he ever went out of his way to go see in college. So ya, he knew he was special lol clown
@mattdpearce
You know he’s talking about photographers that came into Israel with Hamas on 10/7? Take this down Matt. It’s grossly misunderstanding his tweet.
Just very strange to call up top-100 prospects and have them sit on the bench 6 times a week. Not sure how Freeman or Jones ever get into a rhythm playing once a week.
I’ll never understand why the Guardians took a contact hitting righty middle infielder with reverse splits and made him the platoon first basemen against LHP when he can’t hit lefties and can’t play first base
@joethomas73
Start with your terrible take about how Garrett needs to apologize to Rudolph. Yes, he did the worst action in the fight but Rudolph was clearly the initiator.
@SportsBoyTony
Cmon man how many games were they healthy for since then? First Garland then Lauri and LeVert then Mobley and Allen out. Calling it a collapse is really over the top.
@Ejconer
@HPbasketball
No way. I know people (for obvious reasons) haven’t watched the Cavs the last couple years but Tristan is an exceptional role player. Much better than Theis. Although I do like Theis
Can we not make this a referendum on the Cavs flaws? Yes, they’re far from a complete team and have a lot of issues but this is only about the Warriors. They’re the most talented team ever assembled and everything is easy for them. Nothing to do with the Cavs.
Guardians with the most complicated deadline in a long time. Can easily win the division but with their rotation and pen, not a real postseason threat. 40 man roster crunch. Really good prospects who could get moved or need to eventually be called up.

that the Cavs have told Love, George Hill and Korver to be ready to come back to Cleveland and they are not planning on trading them.

@Jeopardy
This is possibly the worst take I’ve ever seen on twitter. Amy is better than any player just like Ken, James, Matt and a few others. But if you’re watching Jeopardy to see who wins, you’re doing it wrong. The whole point of the show is to play along at home
@SarahTheHaider
Marginalized communities, parents, those who have lost people to COVID, and New York Times TikTok reporters, ya know? The four major categories of exhausted people.
@getnickwright
Lol there’s just no possible world where 56 games of Steph is better than 68 games of Donovan. They had almost exact numbers, the Cavs were a far superior team and there’s just no logical argument for Steph if you look at just this year. What a terrible take.
@SportsBoyTony
Grant Williams is not a better shooter than Strus in any world. A shooter who gets up 9 3s per 36 and shoots 38 percent over a 2 year sample is far superior to one that shoots 40 percent but only takes 5 3s per 36. Also, one guy contributed to a Finals run and one got benched.
One of the toughest games in the NBA is the first game home after a long trip on the opposite coast. And the Cavs just played one that included 6 in 9 nights and ended on a B2B. To have their first game back on just 1 day off and at 3 pm is just cruel scheduling
@DieHardLALfan
@Giveit2urMAMBA
He’ll make some good defensive plays every now and again. Some nice chase down blocks. But game to game, play to play, the effort just won’t be there. He’s not closing out on a corner 3 in a game in February against Sacramento. Sorry.
Bradley Zimmer is now 2 for 18 with 12 strikeouts in Spring Training. First I was ok with him being a backup outfielder. But now I think he needs to be DFA’d. Will help the roster crunch and open up opportunities for young guys.
@KBHeff
@SceneSallard
Honestly an understatement. If any place has a chance of curving this, it’s Ohio because of his and his teams actions. And they’re rightfully worrying about/enacting to help with the financial burden too
