I spent a summer as an incarcerated farmworker in New Hampshire county jail. Our labor was not only unpaid, it was coerced - we were threatened into with the loss of “good time” (i.e. time towards early release) if we refused to work. Some people sent to solitary for striking

The Supreme Court just ruled that Border Patrol can enter any home without a warrant and assault you, within 100 miles of the border. And no, you have zero federal protections if they do so. The area in yellow is affected.

Sharif Daily, the newspaper of Tehran's Sharif University of Technology, says students trapped on campus are being put in vans & taken to their dorms accompanied by university lecturers. It adds that "gunshots can be heard" around the campus and says the "situation is not safe".

@PKhakpour @_ryanruby_ Tbilisi is unbelievably awesome, one of the only landlocked places I’ve ever considered living. Low cost of living, Georgians are awesome, and the culture really treasures writers/artists—their equivalent of Broadway, Rustaveli Ave, is named after a medieval Georgian poet

Truly awful that @MistressSnowPhd keeps harassing @PKhakpour while attempting to defame Porochista & stalking her every move. @AuthorsGuild ’s code prohibits “hateful or harassing speech and conduct”—why admit a serial harasser like Snow who even lied about her representation?
