Just seen my son off to work. Yesterday he ended his period of isolation after developing symptoms. Today he’s back on the front line as a doctor on the respiratory ward, caring for positive Covid19 patients. Pray please for him and all his wonderful #NHS colleagues.

My mother painted this - she’s flourishing as an artist, despite never having picked up a paintbrush till 4 years ago when she entered her 70s. She takes some convincing that she’s any good - though I think she’s fab. Myself, I can’t even draw the curtains properly!

A good news story: my son told me that yesterday, as they cared for all the Covid19 patients, the ward received a delivery of pizzas for the staff from a local takeaway as a thank you gift. It really lifted their hearts. Come on takeaways of Britain: make this a thing every day!

Today marks 3 weeks of isolation without sugar. Walking 3 miles a day, no meat, dairy or flour. The change has been fantastic! I feel great! No alcohol, healthy diet, 2 hour workout each day! Lost 30 lbs! (No idea whose status this is, but proud of them so copied & pasted... 🤪)
