For those interested, just finished translation of Shiva Purana. 675,000 words in 3 volumes. Longest and most difficult of Purana translations so far. Since Brahma and Vishnu have to be published first, will not be out before second half of 2022. Brahmanda or Matsya next.
I, my wife, and my mother-in-law (who is 84), were all infected. We have now recovered, without hospitalisation being necessary. Vaccination, breathing exercises, tele consultation, all helped. Plus, we have been fortunate.

and his team. Touching, moving, disturbing. Wonderful film. Do watch. Thank you Vivek and Pallavi for making this.
Good day to announce - have finished Vishnu Purana translation. 1 volume. In queue for publication now, after Brahma Purana. Next in line, Shiva Purana.

(1) Odd that you choose not to tag me. (2) I can manage my time. Some can't. (3) I do write on economic matters too, quite a bit. (4) Since you don't read the latter, perhaps this reflects your reading preferences.
For those interested. Finished translation of Markandeya Purana. In one volume. To be published in second half of 2019. Good day to finish it. Thinking of doing Brahma Purana next, without Gautami Mahatmya.
@tavleen_singh
I commented on your reading preferences, because you commented on my writing, offering unsolicited advice. I am least bothered/worried about your impressions/expressions. As for my accountability, let me worry about it. Save yourself the trouble. You have other worries.

China, the original source,
Must be recognised of course,
Geo honoured for the world's pandemic pain.
Given the recent interest in Sanskrit. Given the recent expertise in Sanskrit on twitter, no translation needed.

There were those who said,
By end July, 1 million would lie Covid dead.
Media sounded the alarmist gong
India having proved them wrong,
Into the woodwork they have fled.

For those interested, have completed translation of Brahma Purana (2 volumes), to be published towards the end of 2020. Planning Vishnu Purana next (1 volume).
Right to murder faced a test,
Right to speak laid to rest.
Law reduced to a squeak,
Victims will offer the other cheek,
And assailants do what they do best.

There is no question of interpretation here. Is the word pig used? No. The word "know" is used in a certain sense in the Bible. Am I at liberty to replace it with the F-word and say it is my interpretation? I don't think so.
Very impressed with the efficiency of

Henceforth, I probably shall. But my practice is never to leave a first correspondence unaddressed. This sounded like correspondence, though the sender forgot the address.
@tavleen_singh
Indeed no time for things that start with T in particular - trivia, Tavleen Singh. Comment by all means. But don't address correspondence to me, as you did, when this started. If you do, no more replies. I need time for the next limerick.
