Sad there’s no agreement & we’re likely to miss the baseball we love, but I’m glad the players stood their ground. @MLB & the owners are intent on ruining the sport by trying to suck out every last $ from everyone. Only way game gets stronger is when the players have more power.

Back from our first family camping trip w/ a 3 and 6 year-old. It was a blast! A lot of mountains, lakes and s’mores. I’d say we’re in the low minors of camping, for sure, but planning to practice a lot in the coming years!

Been meaning for a while to look at the leaders in Ball%-CSW, since both are predictive of future performance and seem like the best single underlying metrics outside of using BB% and K% to measure BB and K. The results are interesting. Please note: I'm no researcher.

The R^2 for CSW-Ball% & K-BB% = .73. I'm not a stats guy, but that seems strong. I'm sure there are ways to strengthen the relationship by playing around w/ the weight of SwStr% v. called strike% in CSW, but I'm pretty excited about it. Is it predictive? Help me smart people!
