Whomever at UNT decided not to date-stamp the student IDs, thus allowing me to get student discounts on stuff despite having graduated six years ago, is most definitely seeing the pearly gates
This is the best SNL episode in years. The Keke Palmer reveal, the SZA release date reveal, the Natasha Lyonne cameo, the Kenan & Kel reunion. Everything was perfect.

Director Sophie Muller reveals Beyoncé free-styled many of her dancing in "Déjà Vu," and addresses the controversy that was surrounding the video at the time.

@MTV
- Beyoncé's Surprise Drop Changed The Industry. Now It's A 'Familiar' Process
“Over the past decade, many artists have tried to replicate the surprise-release format and while some have seen similar success, no one has been able to replicate the impact of Beyoncé.”
I feel like a lot of straight men who say things like “no homo, but [male celebrity] is hot” would come out as bi if y’all didn’t stigmatize bi men and if y’all allowed men the same amount of space for sexual curiousity/fluidity as women
Ahhhh! Made my long-awaited
@Billboard
debut ✍🏼 ✨ For its 10th anniversary, I wrote about Lana Del Rey’s debut album ‘Born to Die’ and the cinematic visual elements of that era. Also got to chat with some of the minds behind these iconic music videos.
Evidently Big Sean and Jhene Aiko’s baby was born 10 days ago, but they just announced it today.
I’m glad they were able to deliver the baby in peace and announce the birth on their own terms, without TMZ breaking the news.
I am all for racist people getting kicked out of college or losing their jobs. We don’t want racist doctors mutilating patients. We don’t want racist teachers poisoning young children’s minds. We don’t want racist politicians, cops, lawyers or anything of the sort.

On the couch with them when I was telling them I think I might have anxiety and then they were like “What are you anxious about? Don’t we provide enough for you?”
UPROXX's Best Albums of 2023 list just dropped. Got to write about some of my favorite records of the year, including

Sex: Unzipped on Netflix is more diverse, inclusive and informative than any of the sex education I received in years of public school. I’m not even joking.
Spoke with

Also got to talk with Brian of Fisticuffs and Topshelf Junior about crafting the EP’s sonic and visual universes. My debut for LA Mag.
Twitter really works faster than the FBI. They got that racist lady from Plano identified and arrested in a matter of minutes.
Meanwhile, all the Plano suburban wine moms on Facebook are still trying to figure out who the woman is.
The shooter came from Plano to El Paso with the intent to massacre Hispanics, Latinxs and immigrants.
I never want to hear a damn thing about how undocumented immigrants are a danger to this country ever again.
If this doesn’t wake people the fuck up, I don’t know what will.
Both Harry and Beyoncé noticeably took inspiration from LGBTQ+ aesthetics and culture for their respective album eras…
…but only one of them actually thanked the queer community 🐸☕️
Netflix really needs to hire Korean people to do subtitles for Korean shows, Hispanic people to do subtitles for shows in Spanish and Black people to do subtitles for shows written mostly in AAVE. There are cultures attached to these languages that often get lost in translation.

Hey, just FYI, if you see one of your friends treating themselves to a lavish gift, or a concert, or a vacation, etc., it’s really rude to ask “How did you afford that?”
Let them treat themselves. Let them enjoy the fruits of their labor. Mind your business.
Have y’all been watching My Kind Of Country on Apple TV+?
Got to chat with Arlington native

about her impact in the country music landscape, and what she envisions for the future.
Wow. Billboard, man. I’ve been reading this magazine since I was a kid. I remember going to the public library every week and reading it, looking forward to seeing what the No. 1 song of the week would be. To finally be published in Billboard is such a dream come true.
Shakira deduced Piqué was cheating on her after she returned from traveling to find that her strawberry jam was eaten.
Piqué has never eaten jam in his life.
I’m begging y’all to learn the difference between “filler” episodes, and episodes that take time to draw the story forward and add context to the characters and their backstories
Also excited to share that I profiled TV’s new funny girl

Went to Trader Joe’s to pick up groceries and got some wine. Cashier asked to see my ID. I showed him and he looks for not even a second. I was like “you got it?” and he was like ‘Yeah, I saw the year started with 19, so you’re good’” 🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴
No haters can fuck up my vibe today, because my first ever cover story is on stand! I had fun working on this story with THE Eva Raggio and learning about how people of all practices are finding spirituality during this time. As always, photography by the magnificent
