C3C Hunter Brown died Monday after suffering a medical emergency while on his way to class.

These cadets witnessed a vehicle lose control and go over the edge of a highway down a 100 foot ravine. They pulled the family, two parents and a small child, out of the mangled vehicle and helped them back up to the highway, where they had already contacted emergency personnel.

We are incredibly thankful to let everyone know Aurora is in good spirits and was able to fly around her pen this morning! She will see a specialist this afternoon to determine if x-rays are necessary, but this is an extremely good sign.

veteran traveled all the way from New York for this moment. Receiving a standing ovation, everyone in the room was gifted with a memory they'll never forget.
Our heritage will now include the inspiring task of molding the Space Force -- and there is no one better equipped for this task than our Airmen and USAFA.
As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, let us take a moment to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

Today's Acceptance Day Parade marked the official end of Basic Cadet Training. The Class of 2023 received their fourth-class shoulder boards to recognize completing BCT and to signify their acceptance into the Cadet Wing!
Due to the government shutdown, all Air Force Academy home and away intercollegiate athletic events have been cancelled until further notice. In the event a solution is reached, the Academy will work to reschedule as many missed events as possible. We regret any inconvenience.
