Also on that goal, whilst the moment the ball hits the net is obviously the greatest, my favourite thing in all of football is when you realise your team is ‘in.’ As soon as Kane shaped up to pass to Hojbjerg, it was on. That excitement is the best.

My dad with Jimmy Greaves in Chile as the England players got off the plane for the 1962 World Cup. When dad moved to England in 1966, he asked who Greaves played for, and we’ve been Spurs ever since. A terrible loss.

There was very little wrong with Conte’s interview in midweek, but the problem we’ve got is a newspaper media filled with parasites like Matt Law who have more to gain by destabilising a club than actually reporting the news. Conte very good today.

The 95th minute in Amsterdam doesn’t mean a thing without Sissoko’s performances during that Champions League run, and specifically in the first leg when he came on and changed the game for us. A very good player for us for 2.5 years once he’d been fully written off. Top man
