More meandering rivers! This time it's the Williamette River lidar project put together by the Oregon Department of Geology and Mineral Industries. This imagery product shows the same effect as the Fisk maps but using modern technology. Amazing.

This is my new favorite French #map . Found this one in the University of Chicago map collection. The color choices are not what I expected from a #datavisualization made in 1882, but I'm here for it. This shows the travel times from Paris radiating out into the country.

So I animated that Julio Le Parc painting. The beauty of generative art is once you get the parameters down, you can change them programmatically! Here different sine/cosine offsets are used to bring the painting to life. That's my favorite part about making this stuff.
