Tyler Glasnow made it very clear why pitchers were getting injured 2 years ago. It’s not the pitch clock
Nor even joking, this is all Trevor Bauer’s fault
Twitter is hilarious
I’ve seen a college kid talking down to an ex big leaguer today
Yesterday someone else was talking down to another ex big leaguer
Like what are ppl thinking
How about you sit back and gather information instead of running your mouths
You might just learn
@Ken_Rosenthal
Or yall could just sit back and just report what actually happens
Instead of trying to clickbait everything you, think you heard, might of heard, or dreamed you heard

You can’t convince me that, that much movement is good
Subtle moves back to the zone on the corners and top and bottom of the zone, sure all day, but that much movement with the mitt on purpose doesn’t really make sense honestly
@RB4444
@iZOOM7
I don’t think you realize how good baseball players are today compared to 100 years ago. just look at some black and white videos of the swings and mechanics of the players back then and come back to me
"It's the most important signing in Dodgers history."
@BenVerlander
breaks down the impact that the Shohei Ohtani-Dodgers deal will have on this season and beyond.
What I’ve learned from my last few posts is that the newer radar gun readings, lengthy bullpens, and technology as a whole coupled with a misrepresentation of Pitcher Velocity in the past have given ppl a false representation of the differences in todays game vs the past game,
"The one unbreakable rule about hitting is this: if a batter hits well with his own particular stance and swing, think twice - or more - before suggesting a change."

Dear Coaches…
Hit line drives at your Outfielders it’s the toughest read
While you’re at it, hit line drives in the gaps, hit line drives just out of reach, Enough with the lackadaisical routine flyballs and ground balls, make them work
So your best to help simulate
@DoughsOven
@CodifyBaseball
Well you see, so when you have unreal aided strength and unreal aided fast twitch, you hit many balls very far and because of that teams tend to not pitch to said aided players
Random thought I had…
We often l talk about how past players hold do in our current era
But no one ever mentions what could the current player do in the past era…
Without the training, the nutrition, the money and time for focusing solely on this profession…
Less teams so

Those ppl are funny, “why didn’t he swing at that” “why’d he swing at the ball in the dirt” “that pitch was right down the middle, I would have hit it to the moon”
No you wouldn’t, we specialize when we hit, especially early in the count, I’m looking one spot and I’m not coming
Ever wonder why guys waive at sliders or other nasty pitches so often? Look how quickly you have to try and read spin or pitch shape, then look at how long it looks like a heater then vanishes.
Refer to this next time you think, “Why would he swing at that?”
I’ve seen a lot of very different opinions on my post here
My opinion is…
Anything that can help employ more players, as well as entertain people (and make no mistake, whether you agree or not it is entertaining loads of ppl) and anything that can help grow the interest in the
True Story
I was talking with a couple of guys I know at a D-2 about the season starting, just a little chat nothing crazy
We’re talking about hitting and somehow Teacherman gets mentioned and one of their teammates starts talking about how great he is and that he hit with him
This is long and a lot of you won’t read it and that’s fine 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️…anyways…
For those of you that follow me, it probably seems like I hate analytics…and I probably portray it that way, the truth is I don’t…I think it can be a useful tool, but I hate the way it’s being utilized
I’ve always known that a lot of people who think they understand and can teach hitting, really can’t do it
But after my recent dive into Twitter, I have realized that, that number is exponentially higher than I ever imagined
There are some drills and “theories” that I see daily
I’m not going to call anyone out directly
But I find that calling out a kid who posts his swing on social media and criticizing it with swing analysis that wasn’t asked for, to be pretty distasteful
If the player asks for advice or tips then have at it
But you’re probably
This is how you can crush a kids enjoyment of the game before it even really begins
Let your kids have fun first
Then eventually as they age and start to really dedicate themselves, you can present them with more focused training as an option
Too many ppl go…”my kid looked at
@shegone03
My oldest son is 8. He really loves baseball and is decent at hitting. Would you believe a couple guru types have come up to me at the indoor baseball facility and said his swing is trash and referenced teacherman? The kid is 8! Can we all relax?!
I barely spoke to this dude, but I guess this was inevitable lol
Probably saw his sheep get cooked yesterday, best to avoid I guess

You,
@bamahurin
, who has never accomplished anything in the game of baseball, trying to down play a guy who hit .290 over the course of any amount of time in Major League Baseball, is exactly why no one will ever take a thing you take seriously about the game of baseball.
