My notes of last night briefing on the situation in #gazastrip . @PalestineRCS appears to be the only actor that remains active. Aid is NOT reaching beyond Deir Al Balah according to PRCS. This is a highly concerning humanitarian leaving hundreds of thousands of people behind.

We are deeply concerned of the lives of our volunteers and staff from @PalestineRCS and for the lives of the civilian population. Communications are cut off with Gaza. @ifrc is appalled for the evolution of the conflict. Thousands of children have died among the civilians.

88 seconds - #earthquakeinturkiye - in one month near 140 million hot meals been prepared and delivered under the coordination of Turkish Red Crescent Society @Kizilay who prepare daily meals 3 times a day. We had the opportunity to visit one of those mass feeding kitchens.

New research conducted by the Red Cross Red Crescent Global Migration Lab found 25% of migrants surveyed fear seeking humanitarian assistance would put them at risk of detention or deportation. At the @IFRC , we will continue to support migrants in vulnerable situations.
