@Wroughton_FC
We, as a club wish to stress that any tweets made were nothing whatsoever to do with our humble little football club and as a club we wish to distance ourselves with his comments.
On the back of our statement we wish to add that within our club, playing staff and management, there are a substantial and loyal following for
@LFC
.
Again, we wish to stress that any comments made, definitely were not the opinions of anybody within our club.
A quick note regarding tonights referee. There was an incident that led to our opponents goal. The decision was a penalty but thankyou and respect to Mr Harris for entering our dressing room after, he held his hand up and claimed he may had got it wrong

We apologise that Dominic Threlfall and his business

Dominic gave us an Olive branch a few years back when his financial input saved us from extinction and we are eternally grateful to him and his businesses.
Thankyou
We are absolutely overwhelmed with tonights result in our

So we're top of the league after winning 10 from 10. The fines master today decided that the item of the day was to wear a bra to the game, or forfeit a fine. Great work all the lads for all joining in . Just a bit uncomfortable seeing the boys in Calvins and bras 🙊

Some clubs don't have an in and out turnstile system.
Some clubs thrive on local support. Some clubs only have 20-25 die hard fans attending. Some clubs will cease to exist without fans.
Come Boris , play the game.
#LetFansIn
All in all a brilliant season. League winners and league cup runners up. It was always gonna be tight between us and our strongest rivals Kintbury.
Over a season, the team with the most wins and least defeats generally picks up the silverware. So here we are. Congratulations lads
Happy 40th Birthday today to one of our greatest players.
@TDings2
not just a great footballer but an absolute legend of a fella, a loyal servant and an all round good guy. Legend doesn't actually do him justice.

We would like to express a massive thank you and respect to Melksham town FC after last weekend. Post match, Melksham donated the takings from their football card towards Darren Taylor's plight, also the lad who won the card donated his winnings. Great respect and Thank you👏
So sad to hear of the devastating news regarding poor Darren Taylor.
It is our intention that any subs collected at our next 1st and reserves home fixtures will be doubled by the club. The total amount collected will then be donated towards Darrens fight.

Theres often much credit on here when clubs leave dressing rooms tidy
But today we would like to NOT thank

Another 3 points yesterday.
No thanks to
@MarlboroughTnFC
for leaving the away changing rooms and showers in an absolute state .Their players in our bar afterwards mocking our humble facilities. Maybe next time, dont come for a drink if this is how you intend leaving us!!
A cracking effort tonight in an even 90 mins in which both teams had chances to win the game.
Best of luck to
@CalneTownFC
in the final.
Tired and heavy legs took their toll. No game for 5 weeks then 120 minutes after a tough Saturday fixture. Back to the league it is then.
Fine 2-1 win at Shrewton. A bad start conceding early and could've been 2, but a fine penalty save by

Fantastic effort from the players last night, our virtual end of season presentation.
Well done secretary
@beggzie007
for organising the military planned precision.
Even though the season was cut short, it seemed only right to reward the players for their unbeaten league run.
Game day.
The lads are ready to go Club is ready to go.
Mid March seems an age away since our last competitive game.
A turbulent week after parting company with the gaffer on the eve of the season.
With adequate replacements in the dug out, it starts now.
Bring it on!!

Every club has one and you'll agree that they are probably the hardest working and most important member of the establishment. Ours is no different, so happy birthday to our Club Secretary Stuart Beggs.
Have a great day Beggzie. No doubt you'll enjoy a beverage of sorts today👍
On the back of today's decision to cancel the season, we would like to express thanks to players, management and all connected to the club.
We could have won the league or we may not had, we'll never know.
Either way, its really not important, all things considered.

The FA have today confirmed that the 2019-20 Season will end immediately with all results expunged. A copy of the letter received by the league from the FA can be found on the website.

It was a close encounter at the weir finally ending 3.2
Massive praise to
@fromecollegians

With a depleted squad and both Gaffers away, it was left to the Secretary and chairman(aka the chuckle brothers) to mastermind the win, so well done to all.

A fair 1-1 result in a cracking game game vs

A beautifully respected minutes silence pre match in memory of the late Colin Nunn, ex league officer and referee .👏👏
Game day.
Vs Malmesbury Vic.
Big night tonight, looking to keep our 100% start to the season.
Its gonna be a tough one so the Gaffer has chosen a side with this in mind. With himself in the starting line, we're looking sharp and dangerous.
Bring it on

Quick mention to the 3 officials who also worked well as a team, they don't often get mentioned so well done fellas👏

Final score 5-3
@Wroughton_FC
Its been said many times this season but what an amazing advertisement for the wilts prem tonight. A frantic encounter between 2 teams who matched each others will to win. Melksham deserved the 2.0 lead but our lads refused to roll over. What a game
After being on the end of a 7.0 drubbing earlier this season against
@MalmsVicsFC
DEV, we weren't sure what to expect from visiting their 1st tonight. However with true grit and determination we fell short to a narrow 1.0 defeat.
This is only the start for this young squad.
#COW
Both
@TrowTownFC
and
@Wroughton_FC
from the
@corshamprint

The streets of Wroughton were lined with people at 11.30 this morning as we celebrated the life of local businessman, friend and sponsor of
@Wroughton_FC
, Richard Curtis.
A touching and poignant time as locals applauded the cortege for Rich in his final journey

It's 5 games unbeaten today for our totally new squad and management team. A deserved 3.0 at half time but credit to

We are now actively seeking a new management team.

A very brave and convincing 1st half performance from this young group again today. Together with a hint of experience, grit and and determination from our defensive rearguard, the 3 points were secured.
Together we move on.

At last a much needed and well deserved win in pre season from our lads.
After numerous attempts and tinkering it finally clicked for

Well done fellas 👏
Gameday:
@StrattonJuniors
are the only side yet to reach the halfway stage of their season, but will do that today when they host
