Magnificent enigma. A cornucopia of idiosyncrasies. Queen Carnivore & Inventor of the Meat-iverse. Writer by necessity, daydreamer by nature. Pronouns: 🤓/😈
I’ve said this before and I will say it again:
If eating meat *could* affect the environment to the degree that the earth would be in danger of burning up, I would use the flames as the planet dies a fiery death to sear a ribeye medium-rare in one last stubbornly rebellious meal.

@InNeverland_
One of the things that makes racism wrong is the dehumanization of a person.
Yet this take: that someone cannot love & knit their life with a human of another ethnicity without it being oppressively transactional — is as ugly a dehumanization as racism is.
Disgusting suggestion.
@Forbes
Here’s how this works post 1776:
We watch your pretty weddings. We smile at your Queen. We give eff-all about your opinions on how our Republic works.

“Mansplaining” isn’t a thing.
No gender has a monopoly on being a condescending and pedantic know-it-all when they correct people.
Using the term “mansplaining” is just a way to silence a man rather than hear what he has to say. It’s a juvenile response.
We have declassified a picture of the wonderful dog (name not declassified) that did such a GREAT JOB in capturing and killing the Leader of ISIS, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi!
@McAdooGordon
Leslie, I spent many years in circles where how a woman dressed was subjected to the most nitpicky, condescending, and self-righteous examination. All as a means of controlling us.
With all due respect, this tweet sounds very much like those legalistic control-freaks.
Controversial take:
Some rock and roll stars weren’t thumbing their nose at “the man” back in the day because they are rebellious, but because rebellion was “in” back then and they’re just as much trying to be part of the in-crowd as they are now when conformity is valued.
It’s true. America famously hates making sure the hungry around the world get food.
If only we could become the biggest donor of humanitarian aid and the biggest supplier of food overseas maybe we could atone for voting “no” in the world’s most corrupt international organization
The Adventures of Dr. History and Write Girl: The Most Excellent Mystery
To all our friends on Twitter who have been with us through this journey (whether you wanted to be or not!), thank you for your prayers and good wishes.
Now be good while we’re gone!
The brightest object in the universe is the quasar 3C 273 in the constellation Virgo, 4 trillion times more luminous than the sun.
It is only .01% as luminous as the blinding double standards of the US media.
@nytopinion
The myth of the New York Times as the greatest paper in the country is at best outdated and at worst wildly inaccurate.
If you look at data, I wouldn’t put the NYT in a bird cage lest my bird somehow became literate and read it.
@jadedcreative
Watching this woman use her dad’s terminal illness and dying days to emotionally manipulate people for *politics* sickens me. I hope in his last days she realizes *he* is the one and their relationship is what she should be focusing on.
The Adventures of Dr. History and Write Girl: The Case of the Diamond Ring.
Yes, this is our official engagement notice. We are taking each other off the market.

I honestly think if Covid were to disappear tonight*, there would be some people who would need to find ways to bring it up because talking about it is all they have in life.
@allahpundit
@tlowdon
Your whole entire argument is predicated on unfitness.
“This person did not do the behavior that makes them welcome in society. They don’t deserve our care.”
Your thinking is no different than Docs in places who refuse to treat people of other faiths. The vax is your religion.
As a general rule, of the men on this app (or in life) that I would trust to be respectful and supportive of me, I would trust men that joke about women making sandwiches and being dishwashers than I would the men who write posts about being feminists and women’s allies.
Just a reminder:
You can never apologize enough.
You can never disavow enough.
You can never explain enough.
Anyone who says “if only [conservatives/republicans/Christians] would speak against this, we’d accept them,” laugh in their face.
They’re liars.
This opinion would deprive half the nation of a fundamental, constitutional right that has been enjoyed by millions, for over 50 years.
The breach in protocol at the Court pales in comparison to the breach in constitutional freedoms that the Court is charged with upholding.
I think I figured out where my anger comes from.
I get angry when I‘m trapped. And we are being trapped.
Those things/hobbies/events which should allow us breathing room from divisive topics to find common ground are being used as political cudgels.
We’re being suffocated.
Good men exist.
Men are not all trash.
They are not all stupid.
They are not all skeevy predators.
Men bring good things to this world.
Real men—good, true ones —are worth defending.
Nope, let me revise: Good men are worth celebrating.
This is a hill I will die on.
So um, I read what I think is the “Letter to America,”!and it has really given me a more faceted view about Osama Bin Laden.
I mean, not only was he a tyrannical, psychopathic, mass-murdering terrorist, but he was also a really bad writer.
I’m just confused why we are doing all this for Coronavirus when we didn’t do it for SARS or H1N1.
Did I miss all the canceled schools, sports, travel, and festivals back then?
Also, it seems a bit counterproductive to say “do not panic” and the next breath “shut it all down.”
Update: I am home. My mom is here now. All my tests look good, but the doctor wants me to get a halter monitor to check for arrhythmia.
This all sounds so serious for something that will probably be a nothingburger.
I‘m a writer and even I cannot seem to find the words to describe the depths of the depravity of vengeful, malicious wickedness that permeates The Lincoln Project.
Other rank hypocrites look at them and say “damn, son.”
The wedding day felt so surreal, but this last week of marriage to
@historybythpint
has felt so natural.
Now I get to be an insufferable marriage advice giver. 🤪🤪 Jk. I’ll wait another month for that.
No, stop. It doesn’t matter if the kid is part of a native tribe or not, because it’s not blackface.
That’s the real issue. Someone pushed a lie about a kid doing something racially insensitive.
Changing the defense to “bUt hE’s NaTiVe,” accepts their premise.
Stop. Don’t.
UPDATE: During Sundays broadcast Holden Armenta from California a Native that belongs to the Chumash Tribe. His dad is on the Chumash Tribe board up in Santa Ynez. Everyone is making a massive deal out of this and only trying to show one side of his face to push their narrative.
Anyway, Happy International Men’s Day.
Men are necessary, important and wonderful. Don’t let anyone tell you differently.
Go forth and conquer, my brothers.
Gonna write a police procedural tv show where the main character had a healthy upbringing, is well-adjusted, has a strong family unit, and doesn’t have any dark demons they’re fighting.
It’ll probably be dull, but — you know — groundbreaking.
Would appreciate prayers for my mom. She goes in tomorrow for eye surgery on a detached retina.
Thankful they found it early, hoping that all goes well.
Thanks!
IMO, this GoFundMe issue is an example of the difference of charity vs. state “largesse” (and why statists hate charity so much).
With charity/donations, you fund what *you* value. With taxes, you fund what the state values.
GoFundMe has a statist’s heart with a charity face.

I used eugenics because it was the first term that popped into my mind of people who choose who lives and dies based on their perceived unfitess to society at large.
You’re traveling down a road that does not end well.
When we say "boys will be boys" we don't mean "oh, haha, that guy just sexually harrassed that women, oh no, what can you do?"
We really mean "boys are gonna dig holes for no reason and play with sticks and rocks and collect skulls they find in the woods."
Everything about this video slaps.
The jaunty toddler, the roaming infant, the way the mother slides in on her socks and tries to wrangle them. The father’s expressions.
It’s perfection. It’s family life in a nutshell and I adore it.
You’re drinking Dr Thunder out of these in a church basement at youth group in 1996.
All the girls have two thin tendrils of hair on the sides of their faces. They all smell like cucumber melon lotion.
I dislike Trump, but so help me, I‘d vote for him, donate to his campaign, get a Make America Great Again tattoo if his re-election would bankrupt the media & maroon these writers on icefloes until their fingers fell off & we were spared their bigoted anti-American s***-takes.
You’ll never hear the Democrats brand the Republicans as the party of school massacres, Great Replacement theory, and Covid mass death.
They could do that. But they won’t.
Meanwhile the GOP smear Democrats communists, traitors, and pedophiles.
It’s asymmetric warfare.
Every night, I should start unfollowing one person who no longer adds value to my timeline.
Anyway, chose tonight’s sacrifice already. They won’t miss me, and I no longer will miss them.
And if you read this tweet, it’s not you.
Conspiracy theory of the night!

Libs of TikTok is getting doxxed now because of all the grooming teachers the account has been exposing recently.
Saw a sign outside a home “My child is a 5th Grade Graduate;” call me a pedantic curmudgeon (I am, tbf), but your kid isn’t graduating just because they’re moving from elementary into middle school.
I think 8th grade graduations are dumb too. On the fence about Kindergarten ones
My heart is so, so heavy today.
If you can spare some prayers for my Uncle E and my adopted nephew G today (different families).
E is fighting cancer, and baby G is fighting for life in a hospital, post surgery.
My heart is heavy for them and the family members involved.
@GenMhayden
I think what you discovered were that a lot of decent people who are not Trump supporters had a problem with your vile comment about a political opponent.
Why does “taking COVID seriously” always seem to indicate progressive policies such as lockdowns, mask mandates, & arbitrary authoritarian measures?
Taking it seriously *means* questioning such policies. We are more than bodies that can be affected. We are souls and spirits too.
If you could remember my grandparents in your prayers/thoughts. They both have COVID and are 90 and 93. They’re doing okay, but I’d hate for there to be any complications.
Thanks, muchly!
A friend on FB posted he didn’t like the LOTR books (“tedious”) because “no book needs to be more than 300 pages.”
Do I…
Unfriend?
Forgive in honor of Baby Jesus who came to earth to save people from these kinds of sins?
The dancing nurse videos were slightly tone-deaf at the beginning of COVID.
If you’re a healthcare worker making one in Dec. 2020, you’re a grandstanding fame-junkie trading your hero points for viral clicks.
When reading a number, the numeral is not pronounced “Oh,” but “zero.”
“O” is a letter. “0” is a numeral.
This has been today’s installment of pedantic pet peeves with WGP.
