The Spot being the main villain of
#AcrossTheSpiderVerse
was Avi Arad’s idea
The writers thought he was the ‘dorkiest, dumbest villain’ until they looked into his powers

Do y'all remember when Sony was trying to set up their "Spider-Man Cinematic Universe" in TASM 2 with introducing characters like Felicia Hardy whilst also trying to make a Sinister Six movie? 🤔
I'm gonna be honest... The new Spidey suit Miles wears by the 3rd act doesn't even look that bad. At least, in my opinion. 👍
But from a narrative standpoint? It's pretty bad because we already had Miles make an original Spidey suit of his in his own standalone Spidey game. 😭
In Spider-Man 3, I really hope the Chameleon doesn't try to disguise as Peter Parker when he tries to infiltrate Oscorp to take Norman hostage whilst trying to lure Spider-Man into the Oscorp building, then having Spidey body slam him on a desk as the mission abruptly ends. 💀
Name a bigger downgrade.
Going from arguably having the best Spider-Man cartoon to having one of the worst Spider-Man cartoons within superhero media. 😔
When Bruce Wayne was trapped in a war-torn dimension with Diana for 40 years. His love for Selina has never changed, and he wasn't willing to cheat on his fiancé with Diana.
Meanwhile, in Spider-Man's most recent runs with MJ...😔
@Frankussy
The Batman, Top Gun: Maverick, Northman, Nope, Everything Everywhere All at Once, or Black Panther: Wakanda Forever would have been better choices tbh
I don't think the suit looks bad, but this is literally what the majority of the Spider-Man fanbase feel about the new suit Miles wore by the 3rd act. 💀
Both are lovely and great, but which dynamic do you prefer with Peter and Miles? 💙
A father and son type dynamic between Peter and Miles (ITSV and ATSV)?
Or
A big bro & little bro dynamic between Peter and Miles (Spider-Man PS4 and Spider-Man: Miles Morales)?
I know that this scene was cut from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, but what Peter says literally sounded the opposite of what Miguel was telling Miles in ATSV. 👀
Even in the comics, he wasn't. He may be a jerk, but he's still a good man at heart who actually cares about his employees and the people he interacts with.
I can't believe that this guy was "rumoured" to be revealed as some retired version of Kraven the Hunter in the Raimi Spider-Man films at some point. 🤣
