@VotePursglove
Tom, Iโd love to know what you think about the fact disabled people in their 1000s are saying this is damaging? Weโre now even more scared of getting abuse on the street because youโre encouraging people to essentially come up to us and ask us owt they like.
@VotePursglove
Were parents of disabled children/YP were asked? I've lost count of the number of times strangers have asked me "did you know about your daughter's condition before she was born?"
Also the killer; "did you know God only gives special kids to special parents?" Thanks a lot Tom!
@VotePursglove
So rather actually than help us disabled people, youโve granted the public permission to ask us any question, whether itโs invasive or ableist, and want us to give up our time for free to educate people when we donโt want to talk about our disabilities with strangers? Brilliant๐
@VotePursglove
I agree. Itโs great to tokenise. How did the extensive research outcome not see that access needs to be standard. Illusion of inclusion.
@VotePursglove
I would be more likely to take this more seriously if I wasnโt aware of your voting record which shows how you have supported so much that disadvantaged ordinary people.
@VotePursglove
As a disabled person, I am so glad you are spending your time pushing abled people to be even more invasive with their questions than, say, attending the UN meeting regarding your continual discrimination against us. I just love being asked "what's wrong with you?"
@VotePursglove
Just follow the UNCRPD which you signed and ratified. This is a diversion from
@DWPgovuk
benefit related deaths, 60% Covid deaths & the grave and systematic violations of Disabled people's rights since 2010
@VotePursglove
Bull fluff policy while you and your shills gear up to abolish the ECHR and undermine our rights even further ! Disabled people donโt trust you many hate you and for good reason !
@VotePursglove
I don't believe 500 disabled people agreed with this considering we make. up 25% of the population...
If you're going to lie at least make it a good one
@VotePursglove
We donโt want to start conversations. I just want to live. I want to be able to leave the house without someone asking whatโs wrong with me and whether I can have sex. But now youโve unleashed a campaign that gives license to people to carry on asking those questions.
@VotePursglove
We don't want busy bodies questioning us - we want proper accessibility. We get asked enough intrusive stuff by random strangers without your lot encouraging them to do it.
