Over the weekend, Sgt. Michael Murphy and Officer Heather Roland were made aware of a turtle in the fountain. We are happy to say the turtle was safely removed and is now back in the pond.

UTPD is deeply saddened to announce that Chief of Police David Carter passed away early this morning, after a prolonged and valiant fight against cancer. He is survived by his wife and daughter.
Our hearts are with the Carter family and all who knew him.
