It's something I am aware of and I know it's not ideal. Since I needed room in the interior for things like guns, upgrades, and other stuff I decided to just go for a simplified, more modern dashboard. This gives more space inside, and more room to focus on the gameplay :)

Throwback to the first trailer for Choo-Choo Charles. I'm still absolutely floored by the support, and have a hard time fully gripping how far you all have brought this game ❤️ I can not wait for you all to finally meet Charles.
The HARDEST part of making Choo-Choo Charles was programming humanoid AI. You'd think simple humanoid enemies that walk around and shoot you would be simple; every major game has them! But no... Even the basic AI in CCC was excruciatingly difficult (for me at least lol).
My last 4 games have all used the same hand drawn aesthetic. My upcoming title will mark the first time in over 6 years that I divulge from this style.
Making the open-world map in CCC gave me a lot of additional respect for the developers who make the massive worlds we get to explore. What I made is nothing compared to the insanly detailed and lively places others have created, but I'm still super happy with what I pulled off.

While playing Choo-Choo Charles, you might find some strange rock piles... Each rock is dedicated to someone who subbed during the development livestreams I did over the past year! They are "Pog Rocks". Very Epic.
Console porting for Choo-Choo Charles seems to be going smoothly, and is well on track to releasing on current and last gen PS, Xbox, and Switch this year.
For anyone with an odd sense of curiosity, this is what Charles' patrolling looks like sped up 50X. The green dot marks the player, the blue arrow marks Charles, and the red dots marks where Charles is trying to go. If he can't reach the dot, he'll walk to a random nearby point.
