It's something I am aware of and I know it's not ideal. Since I needed room in the interior for things like guns, upgrades, and other stuff I decided to just go for a simplified, more modern dashboard. This gives more space inside, and more room to focus on the gameplay :)

My biggest issue with this comes with the fact I'm a train fan, you've got a Diesel Control Panel in a Steam Engine body, with a Diesel Engine's horn. Obviously this isn't going to bother most people, but I think it'd be best for the emersion if you were to pick a specific-

Totally fair reasoning, sorry if my original reply came off as demanding at all. The game looks great and gameplay is a perfectly justified reason to not worry about the aesthetics, looking forward to playing this! Will actually be my first horror game.

A complicated control scheme, like a steam engine, could add to the horror.
You furiously work the controls trying to accelerate as spooder train bears down on you.
