Today we made “real lava “using bicarbonate of soda and vinegar. We put the soda in first then when we added the vinegar it “ exploded “ like a real volcano and it all “fired out”, it was very exciting

Some learners from P6 and P7 volunteered to hold signs with the Dunfermline Police Community Team & Police Scotland Youth Volunteers to take part in the Stand Against Speeding project to keep people safe. We felt nervous but proud to be taking part in something so big.

One of our nursery dads came to the woods to show us all about metal detecting. We had lots of fun listening for the beep then digging up the ground to see what we could find. We found a big coin that was very old.

In the woods this afternoon we built a castle and had our snack in it. The children showed great role play and have been talking about who lives in a castle. Some children also noticed a sign and were eager to investigate it further.
