Toryglen True Blues are taking names for a bus to Saudi Arabia for the 2025 World Club Cup. We'll be breaking the journey up with a 45 minute stop at Southwaite Services
How to improve the Champions league
Champions only
No seeding
Everybody in the same pot at the beginning
Same amount of qualifying rounds for everybody.
If Real Madrid knock out Juventus before the group stages and the Faroes champions make it then so be it, that's football
If people were happy to celebrate the title last season then they can return the favour by offering support amd encouragement to the same players who are going through a rough spell just now. Screaming continuously at players for every misplaced pass isn't normally helpful
The noise that is going to immediately follow the minute's silence for Jimmy Bell tonight is going to be incredible. However the game goes the players deserve a huge ovation from the crowd at the end as well. We are in a situation nobody could have predicted.
"So Allan, you played a huge role in 55, are a strong contender for player of the year, will be fondly remembered by Rangers fans all over the world forever and have signed a contract extension. You must be feeling pretty good just now?"
"Aye."
Whatever UEFA think about it doesn't matter. We have a responsibility to our player and Rangers should make it clear they won't be giving Sparta Prague any tickets for Ibrox. If we get a hefty fine then so be it
Maybe unnoticed a bit yesterday but McGregor screaming at his teammates to play on when an Aberdeen player was kidding on he was injured was a thing of beauty especially as it was really close to the end of the game
I try not to comment on serious stuff on here but honestly, that queue for food at Argyle Street around 9pm last night was an utter disgrace. People in power should be cringing in embarrassment that citizens of Glasgow have to do that in this day and age
If Robbie McCrorie isn't in goal at the weekend then give the lad a free transfer and let him build a career elsewhere. No point playing McGregor again this season and it isn't the time for an emotional farewell either
Fair play to big Davie Cook from the Westwood RSC for what he has said in response to Sunday. Always found him a very approachable and friendly guy to deal with and a huge Rangers man. A credit to himself, his Rangers bus and to Rangers FC.
Jim Forrest was treated abysmally by Rangers but like the True Blue he was, he remained a committed supporter until the very end, travelling occasionally on the Toryglen bus to away games around 20 years ago. Condolences to all concerned from all at the Toryglen True Blues RSC.
Maybe watching closed doors games will get some fans to reflect on whether shouting and screaming at Rangers players trying to break down an opposing team that only wants to frustrate and stifle is the best way to offer support when we're allowed back into the grounds.
If we take Glasgow as a starting point, Rangers fans travelling to Dingwall and Fraserburgh for the next two games from the west of Scotland will travel round about a collective 725 miles. Shows the effort the Highland and North East bluenoses put in on a regular basis 🇬🇧
Absolutely heartbreaking that a young man in the prime of his life went to see the Rangers but will never go home. Condolences to all concerned from the Toryglen True Blues
Somebody inside Ibrox is hopefully showing the players Richard Gough's comments and explaining that a man of his stature within Rangers' history having a go at their attitude is something they really should be trying to rectify immediately
I don't know why people are moaning about last night. We absolutely battered a major European name for the first half to the extent it could have been 4 or 5-0. They weren't Hamilton or the like, they were always going to be on top for spells. That was a brilliant result for us.
Willie Miller saying for the good of Scottish football Rangers need to confirm or deny the McInnes stuff because the speculation is damaging. I couldn't care less about the rest of Scottish football and we aren't beholden to what the press make up
Empty seats at a semi final to deny Rangers fans tickets.
The Nationalist politicians in the council doing what they can to throw obstacles in our way.
"You're not Rangers anymore" they sing.
In their dreams.
It's brilliant seeing so many RSCs having to source bigger buses then saying even they are full for the game today, it's exhilarating. 83 seater double decker for the Toryglen True Blues 🇬🇧
Players set out to wind Morelos up every single game. He returns the favour and you effectively have journalists running, telling tales on him to the compliance officer
Got a wee treat coming up tonight for the Bears on here who like their Rangers history. I've been given privileged access to a diary a Rangers fan kept in the 20s and 30s and it also contains his research into our earlier games. So watch this space for photos from it 😀
For all Rangers fans not from Glasgow who will be in the city early before the game on Sunday and are unaware, there is a Service of Remembrance at George Square every November. Plenty of time to attend then make your way to the game
The season will end in disappointment but I wouldn't change our manager for anybody else. I see loads of percentages about win records online but he conducts himself in a way Bill Struth would approve of and there is no doubt if players stop stupid mistakes he can take us places
An Aberdeen fan rep is moaning about the allocation for Ibrox because "Cup games always bring out more fans" . Somebody want to show him a picture of Pittodrie from the first game?
Probably been covered elsewhere but Jermaine Defoe in an article in today's Express says Bradley Lowery's family are going to travel to Ibrox for a game
I don't think we've had a player that generates such irrational hatred in our enemies since Gazza. Managers wanting Morelos sent off, cretins writing 'funny' articles about his country's drug issue, players & fans hating him for being an awkward opponent. What a picture it paints
Six years after that odious moron belittled our club by taking the chair we defeat Porto in Europe. A turnaround only possible because of Dave King and the other Rangers fans willing to take the rats on
Not one bit of leadership in the club. An invisible chairman, directors who issue patronising platitudes every now and then, an executive team so far out their depth it's embarrassing, a manager who can't get his players playing for him and a team who have no inspiration at all
No Rangers fan should ever allow themselves to forget what happened to us on this date 7 years ago. Never ever forgive, never ever forget even though the list of those responsible is a long one. Murray being at the top of it though.
Another example of how important RSCs are to our support. I got a lift to Paisley with the Ballingry Loyal. There must have been 10-12 Fife RSCs represented on it. The secretary won't want credit but it was a remarkable display of organisation to help Rangers fans see their team
Gazza was a genius with unimaginable mental problems but you have to wonder how many young kids he inspired to take up football. Forget any fake morality over reasons behind the HoF withdrawal. This is all to do with the fact he's an Englishman who played for Rangers.
Getting a bit personal here. One of the best mates I ever had was a guy called Graham McKay, big Ayrshireman and a huge Rangers fan. Sadly lost to us in 2010 but I'll be raising a toast to him later. I'm sure there are a million stories like that all over the world today
That changing of the Braga ticket pick up times is an absolute disgrace
@RangersFC
We don't all stay next to Ibrox and plenty of people would have planned to pick them up on Wednesday. Removing that option on Tuesday afternoon is shocking
So far Alfredo Moreles has had an article on him based around a simpleton's idea of a joke about the drug issue in his country and now another one by a moron wanting Rangers fans to boo him. What a backward place Scottish football can be.
Feels like I'm trying to burst a bubble here after the events of the weekend that gave us a good laugh but we can't lose focus. Rangers are in a really good situation just now but the main point is we haven't won anything yet.
Smashing wee story from yesterday.
Rangers fan & his young son outside the ground looking for tickets & approached a certain RSC bus.
"Got spare tickets for me & my boy, mate?"
"Aye, got 2."
"Wee man, you're going to see the Rangers today."
Cue a delighted & emotional young lad💙
That Walter Smith programme last night displayed a giant of a man who was his generation's Bill Struth with a link being his grandfather attending games while Struth was manager. People like that don't come along too often, we were privileged to have him in our lives.
There's a doctor on the radio just now calling for fans to be allowed back into football grounds in Scotland for mental health purposes and said it doesn't make sense there are no limits to the amount of people allowed into shopping centres
Random observation 2 from Glasgow airport. Do people actually enjoy a pint of lager with a huge fry-up before 6am or is it just some weirdly British thing they feel obligated to do?
A Rangers daft assistant manager and a team that looks like it could have more than a few talented Rangers fans in it along with our new coaching staff is very encouraging.
Can people - particularly at home - maybe look at how Rangers dug that out against determined opponents and not hurl continuous abuse when not every attack results in a goal?
@RangersFC
@RangersFCSLO
Congratulations to Ross Sinclair of the Toryglen True Blues who helped Great Britain to the football gold medal at the Special Olympics with a 3-1 win over Australia in the final earlier today. We're all very proud of you mate
Please RT. Owing to the ticket situation for Parkhead the
#ToryglenTrueBlues
are running a free bus to and from the game for any Rangers fan with a ticket. It'll leave Rutherglen around an hour before kick off
I've just read about the 7 year old Rangers fan with brain cancer who was laughed at online. I've no idea what was said and don't want to know but to the scumbag responsible, if you're capable of rational thought I hope you're tormented by guilt forever
Another evening with Rangers legends getting punted, this time with Barry Ferguson and Alex McLeish so we can all reminisce about how great we were 20 years ago and forget the here and now with 100 years of being the most successful team in Scotland about to be lost
This is a day of reflection and Remembrance for Rangers supporters all over the world. Every death in the Disaster was a tragedy and when you see how many victims were teenagers it's hard not to think of the lives they had taken away before they had really started. Lest We Forget
Congratulations to our Sovereign Lady Queen Elizabeth II from all at the Toryglen True Blues Rangers supporters club on the occasion of her Platinum Jubilee. Long to reign over us. God Save The Queen.
Without Dave King and the men who took the rats on, no Gerrard, no Kent, no hope. We'd have floundered forever only existing to make money for crooks who couldn't care less about Rangers.
Every now and then one generation of Bears sees a player that has a claim to be the best ever for Rangers in his position. Those of a certain age can say that about Andy Goram. Legend.
Too many people last night forgot just how far we have come since the humiliations of Eindhoven and Cyprus. Going out to Benfica in the manner we did was no disgrace
Good morning from Prestwick Airport. Safe trip to my fellow members of the Toryglen True Blues heading to Villareal today and all other Rangers fans. Follow we will. 🇬🇧
Still two games to go but this season has produced three moments that people will speak about for decades.
Roofe's goal in Liege
McGregor's save in Prague
Kent's wizardry against Celtic.
To get three moments like that in one single season really is remarkable.
Many, many thanks to
@RoyalBurghLoyal
and the various other Rangers buses who took our members to the game yesterday after we broke down on the A9. Very much appreciated, lads and lassies.
I've long held a suspicion people like Lafferty and McGregor were hunted out of Ibrox by the pondlife who slithered in after Murray sold us out. Then deflection stories that they'd abandoned us were deliberately planted into an already bewildered Rangers support.
How many Aberdeen fans who will "struggle" to get to Hampden for a noon kick off on a Sunday struggle regularly to get to Pittodrie for 3pm on a Saturday?
