The Royal Navy commissioned its first submarine HMS Holland 1 in 1901 since then it has commissioned many different types of submarine with many different power plants

While the Sierra and Akula class look fairly similar there are major differences
Sierras are built using titanium this includes the screw which is a titanium nickle alloy which is a silver colour

Lt.Cdr. Molyneux was posthumously awarded the George Medal.
