Vegans are only vegans because the have grocery stores. They would be spinning in circles trying to survive on plants in the wilderness. I grew up in south Mississippi - my family hunted/fished for 90% of the meat we ate. I’m so thankful to have been raised in the country.

A trainer at my client’s gym told her to only eat 800 calories. She’s almost 350 lbs. 🤦🏼‍♀️ This is why we MUST shift from the “calorie” mind set. This is a recipe for disaster. Eat protein and veggies and stop with the insane calorie deficits, IT WILL BACKFIRE.

People are having their gallbladders removed and then never told they’ll likely need bile salts and digestive enzymes. 🤦🏼‍♀️ How can we remove an entire organ and not warn them of the digestive issues to come. Gallbladder removal also increases likelihood of metabolic disease.

I was taught as a Dietitian to use the DASH diet to help people lower their blood pressure. Want to know what works WAY BETTER? Low carb and fasting. I rarely have a patient on blood pressure meds that doesn’t need to lower the dosage or come off of them completely.
