They lie to you about trans kids. No kid under the age of puberty receives any medical intervention at all, certainly not surgery. A small child transitions purely by maybe going by a different name and dressing/grooming differently. All the changes are social.

It is absolutely a high stakes decision, but of the kids that have consistently presented as trans, seen doctors and therapists to make sure it's right for them, going on blockers/hormones is overwhelmingly the correct decision for them, and it's disengenuous to pretend otherwise

It's hard to even conceive of the "they force kids to be trans" narrative to be real as a trans person who had to deal with a world entirely hostile to the idea of being trans, and even those professionals whose job it was to help you threw up a mountain of barriers to care.

They may start puberty blockers around the age of puberty to delay until they are older, and then may start taking cross sex hormones (HRT) at around 16 if they still feel that course of action is right for them.

Hopefully, this is helpful! Bookshelves are by far the most common use I find for this brush, but if you ever just have a bunch of random trash or stuff around that doesn't require a ton of thought in color selection, you might find this useful!

Since those colors are pretty wacky, in my opinion, I generally end up setting this layer to about 40% or so, and maybe some other adjustment layers on top to unify them a bit more while still retaining a bit of randomness.

So, in the first image, I start with the lineart and the flats separated. You can set this next part up in a variety of ways. I make a folder with a mask set to just the area of the books. The important thing is to just be filling in the books, so do that however you want.

I have a custom pencil brush set up to randomize colors. The only important setting here is the color dynamics. The shape dynamics and smoothing are optional. You don't have to set up the hue, brightness, and saturation jitter at exactly these settings, but it's what I have.

It's frustrating that the default opinion about kids transitioning/taking puberty blockers is always "what if they regret it and are really cis", and never "what if they're trans and they regret not having that option". Blockers are reversible, you can't undo puberty.

Hue jitter: this is how much the color will change. At 100%, the hue is basically random. You can narrow the range if you wanted to keep the hue closer in range. Same goes for the saturation and brightness. Just depends on how wildly you want this to vary.

I also recommend setting the brush to "behind". This way, every brush stroke that you make will only go behind the books you've already colored in, and this let's you really zoom through it. You have to do this on a blank layer for it to work.

Seen some disinformation about CMYK/RGB. You can work with in RGB just fine. Use CMYK proof turned on, and you will see how it converts as you work. Get the color profile from your publisher/printer, and when you convert, you will get the most accurate conversion.
