A few months ago my biggest months were in the $17k range. May 2020 was a new biggest month at $22k. June was $30k.
In the last 3 days I’ve made $21k.
Exponential growth is truly amazing.
New best month at $41k
On Monday I was aiming for $1k a day the rest of the week to hit my second best month around $30k. Didn’t expect to finish this strong.
I think this puts me around a quarter million on the year!
Huge thanks to

New best month $40.5k! Extremely consistent too.
Something really interesting is I switched my focus completely from what was working earlier this year as the market shifted noticeably. I adapted and made it work!

1.5 years into the journey I took my first $30k of profits to use as a downpayment on a home for my family. Every dollar put into the house since then has come from trading…
Broke through $300k total profits this week! The consistency is really starting to pay off. Just gotta keep taking it one trade at a time.

Officially crossed over $200k total trading profits now.
3 years to the month to make my first $100k profits.
3 months to the day to make my second $100k profits.
On to the next!

Ending the month on a very high note. Best month ever with $22.5k total profits! It’s finally starting to feel like this is real, and I can actually do this for a living.
Trading is the best! On vacation in a killer mansion on a lake, made $5k this morning on $ALF. Feels great to take care of vacation expenses and more when you are on the trip.

I’ve paid off $30k of credit card debt in the last 3 weeks alone just from my daily winnings. This is where trading is becoming life changing. Last year was my first year trading full time and was all about surviving. This year it’s time to thrive.
New personal best +$17,856. Better than the pnl though was the consistency and loss cutting. This was by far my most consistent, disciplined month ever. Keeping that discipline with slightly larger size will be my main goal next month.

I did it. My entire life I told myself I’d retire by 40. Even a few years ago that looked like an impossibility, yet here I am. Not retired in the sense that I don’t need more money, but in the sense that I now make massive amounts of it on my own, doing what I love.
Too much negativity on here. I tried to help and give as much value as I could only to get shit on for no benefit to myself. Not worth the aggravation. Peace out!
The last 3 months have been by far my most consistent trading yet. 13 straight green weeks, with only 8 red days during that time. And minimal drawdowns considering I will risk up to $1k on some trades.
Rough start to the month, but I adapted and finished strong. Pushed too hard today, looking for some home runs to pad my month and ended up red on the day when I should have put up about $2k today. Still happy with the overall results.
Broke $200k ytd this week.

In trading, as in any form of advantage gambling based on probabilities, the money comes in chunks. A day can make your week. A week can make your month. A month can make your year.
I’m up $29k realized profits over the past 3 days, while using $500 risk per trade.

Just realized it’s been a year since I really had to rely on trading income full time. This time last year I had run through my savings and had no other income to speak of.
I had $20k in my trading accounts and faced the prospect of needing to withdraw $5k - $7k a month to live
Trading is by far the best occupation for me. For so long, when writing software, I put in so much effort and could have made the company hundreds of millions in revenue and been rewarded with a $50 gift card to a chain restaurant. That was incredibly demoralizing.
I can’t jinx myself two months in a row by posting partial month results, right? Second best start to a month I believe. Almost $38k in 6 days. Looking for my first six figure month still.

Couple big changes this month. As of 2 weeks ago I don’t have to withdraw from the accounts like I have been for living expenses ever since I started. Also 2 weeks ago started switching my setup focus and bias. Bring on the bear market!
@timothysykes
Before the start of 2019 I had 6 green months out of 20. That was enough to be profitable but was in no way consistent. This year I’ve been green every single month. That’s 5 straight green months. That’s consistency.
When seeing everyone’s amazing results on here, keep a few things in mind. First, we mostly present an idealized version of ourselves on social media and you aren’t seeing the whole picture. Second, everyone is on their own journey so don’t compare yours to someone else.
Here’s a pic of me in front of my setup so you can get a feel for how big the monitors actually are. The three wall mounted ones can move up and down about 14” and left to right nearly 4 feet. That’s good for being able to adjust them along with the standing desk.
It’s amazing to be able to generate this kind of income and finally get to spend a little bit on some rewards. Spent nearly $10k last weekend on this camera and lens and paid for it trading a single stock yesterday. Thanks again $TKAT
So many traders I know are in their early twenties. I’d give up so much to have discovered trading at such an early age. If you are getting into trading in your twenties, you are opening the door to making more money than 99% of the world at an age where most are just starting.
Woooohoooo! One of my best trades ever. Longed $CTRV on the news. Sold most of it premarket. Locked in $5,100 profit so far. And have 100 shares left from the high 7s. $5k a day keeps the real job away. On to the next.

1st week of June: Best week ever
2nd week: first red week in 16 weeks, but super small with regards to risk

Another month in the books. Definitely a shift in the market to more classic summer trading. Still managed my 3rd best month at $28.3k, and if I closed out my trades from today, would have been my 2nd best. I have a YouTube vid forthcoming about adapting to the market.

Looks like a confirmed breakout to me. I’m now up $45k from my low point nine months ago. My account was down to $8k at that point. That’s 560% in nine months. And they say you can’t beat the market so you should just buy index funds.
A lot of my friends have made insane leaps in trading this year and it can be frustrating if I try to compare myself to what they’ve accomplished. So I always need to come back to center and just compare myself to where I was yesterday and make sure I’m always moving

I normally don’t post partial month calendars like this, but this was an exceptional week.
Record trade, record day, record week, and well on track for a record month.
Even a record comeback today.
And all on a 4 day week…
Couldn’t stay away from $DLPN. Had to short it again before the close for a swing, but then I was up so much on the trade, I just locked in the $5.2k and now I don’t need to wake up at 2am tomorrow.

New record week: $32.2k
Finished the month +$46k, worst month of 2021. Main issue this month was swinging a bunch of longer term trades that didn’t work out. Cut them the first two weeks for pretty hefty losses. Just counting trades opened in March I made $62k just $2k shy of my best month. Not too bad.
6 weeks with the new rules. 182 trades. $45,000 profit. 2 red days. $300 avg risk. Increasing from $100 risk to $700 risk currently. Probably another month until I get back up to $1.5k risk. Still making improvements to the rules. Last weekends tweak paid off big time this week.
Trade of the day was my overnight swing on $MVIS. Bought 3k shares yesterday at 2.38, scaled out this morning between 2.70 - 3.15 for $1,665 profit with a 23% gain. Sitting at $23k on the month, halfway through and already my 2nd best month.

In my nearly 4 years of trading I’ve seen a lot of traders scale up too fast in a hot market and lose it all when the market shifts. All I know is I’ll still be here grinding it out when a lot of traders currently running hot are too slow to adapt to the coming market change.
I made a new video talking about some of the key points that turned me from a losing trader into a consistently profitable one!

I know there is an obvious focus on profits in this industry but just know that it does not take a lot of money to live a happy life. And happiness should be the bar for success, not money. Most people are focused on the wrong thing and life is too short for that.
My biggest single win ever! Picked up 235k shares of $PURA yesterday. Sold into the initial spike this morning for $5,700 profit and a 30% gain. Left a ton on the table but stoked to lock in such a nice win on an overnight trade. On to the next.

What a difference a year makes. I made my first trades May 2017, lost $2k and had 3 green days. In about the same number of days this May, I’m up $13.5k with just one red day so far. It took a ton of hard work, dedication, persistence and a great mentor
@timothysykes
Can’t stop, won’t stop. Took about a $550 loss premarket on $CEI. Got back in and came out ahead by $680 overall. And made about another $2,200 on $XBIO for a total profit of $2,855 on the day. $3k a day keeps the real job away. On to the next.
@timothysykes
Focus on finding and trading YOUR edge. Experiment widely. Track data on setups and track your trades. Figure out where you excel. Then narrow your focus and get really good at your best trades. Cut out everything else and get consistent. Size up. Slowly branch out to new edges.
Remember you are always in control. Don’t try to blame outside factors for your trading outcomes. You choose your risk, entries, exits, position sizing. You’re clicking the buttons. The sooner you come to accept responsibility the sooner you can work on improving your decisions.
While not delineated within one month. This is my 2nd best 22 day period after my best month in July when I made $40.5k. The cool thing here is I’m using less than 1/4 the size I was using then. Cutting losses quick, and being super disciplined. Big things coming.

Risk management is everything. 16.5 trading days using the new system and I’m on track to rival my best month ever using less than 1/3 the size. And my new rules are self reinforcing. EVERY SINGLE TIME I deviate from my rules, I lose more or win less than if I had followed them.
I just noticed I’m working on my 4th consecutive green month. I’ve never put together more than two green months in a row before. The consistency is improving.
Let’s keep it going! My first five figure day! Picked up 10k shares $CIIX at 0.9799, out at 1.175 for another $2,000. That puts me at $10,221 profit on the day. Woohoo!
@timothysykes
Shaping up for my 5th best month. More than that, this has been my most consistent month ever. Previous big months hinged on a few really large wins. Also this was 75% day trades and I used to only use daytrades on losing swing trade attempts. Making some real progress here.
Sick start to the week from my swings. Made nearly $1,000 profit and 40% gain on $IGCC. And $2,000 profit with 50% gain on $BRKK. $3k a day keeps the real job away. On to the next.

I think I’m going to make a video today diving into my spreadsheets a bit to show you how I find an edge. And maybe more importantly, how I eliminate certain setups and trades.
And ouch! Biggest loss ever but good to finally be out of that short. Total damage is about $27k. So many mistakes and chances to minimize the loss. I’ll see if I can make a vid about the trade this weekend.
I spent far too long focusing on win rate. For me, switching the focus to risk/reward has been infinitely more, well... rewarding. Thanks

Learning from Tim Grittani’s journey was how I found success. In one of his webinars he laid out his steps in learning to trade and these steps are how I became profitable as well. I hope this will help some of you.
I love making this kind of money before 6am. It’s a great way to start the day. Long 1k $OSN at 4.67 avg. Scaled out on the way up to 7 for $1,514 profit (8.9 R). $1k a day keeps the real job away. On to the next.

Until yesterday I was on track for my first five-figure month since August of last year. I likely would have had more since then, but I took out a large amount from my account to buy a home late last year. Only one mistake this month. My fewest ever for a month. On to the next.
This is my running pnl from Friday. It’s a great example of why I think it’s a mistake to call it a day early just because you had a few good trades. When you are on your A game, focused and trading well, you need to take advantage and milk it for all it’s worth.
I turned off all my unrealized and realized pnl for trades and accounts on my platforms. I want to see if this helps disconnect me a bit from the money so I can focus more on the process.
Oh so happy! Got 1.9k shares $EDSA at 5.75 avg. Wanted to be patient with this one but I was up so much as it was consolidating I had to start locking in profits. Made $3,800 and sold way too soon. $4k a day definitely keeps the job away. On to the next.

Most people don’t even realize that position sizing is actually the single most important factor in long term capital growth once you actually have a positive expectation strategy. I highly recommend you become familiar with the Kelly criterion if you aren’t already.

Pnl curve starting at the beginning of last week when I implemented my new rules. 60 trades so far. Minimal drawdown. And this weekend I added some more rules to keep me out of some midday trades. Those are helping increase win rate. This is still using around $200 risk max.
I don’t mention it much on here because ultimately it shouldn’t affect your trading, but I’ve made all the gains I have this year, approaching $80k profits and 400% ROI ytd, using accounts that are under the PDT limits.
