I understand your point but also only half agree. I do have a plan for my life and in it is a real retirement - all things must end at some point.

You can not win the game. You will never win all the money, own all the stocks, knock everyone else out of the game and be the last one standing. The very fact you don’t want to play forever proves it is an infinite game: the game goes on forever, the players come and go.

Almost 3 years in and only now have I identified what really works for me and scaling up. In addition to trading I own a Brazilian JiuJitsu Academy in TX. I’ve been at it 27 years now and we have a saying that’s also pertinent to trading. “It’s not who’s good, it’s who’s left”

The game itself is an infinite game. One of the definitions of an infinite game is that the game always continues while different players come and go.

I hear you but it's a bit more complicated. You need to not only keep playing till 'end' but play above a set reference to create a deep financial impact ie big enough $ should show up after some point or all the effort/stress/resilience is not of much use.
