This impressive man might just save the great game of football as well as THFC + Levy. Ange is the man!
Lose the ball… get it back.
Foul... take it quick while the opponents moan to the Ref. Keep the tempo…. even with 9 men.
A saintly Spur for sure.
Integrity at last.
I got my blue tick! I am officially me.
Thanks to the chap who questioned me so I looked into it again - and twitter had restarted their blue tick programme.
Officially yours, SP

Happy birthday Harry from one all time record holder to another. It’d be great if you beat my goal scoring record (!!) and score at least 1 league goal for 17 consecutive seasons at THFC. No pressure but hope that you break every record possible on our behalf.

I was delighted you were staying
@HKane
… and then I saw this stat… and now I’m not so sure! 😂 thank goodness they didn’t put ‘Goals Scored’ next to the appearances!

Simple instructions. No fuss. A Simple training ground. Plain beautiful white Shirts. All things Spurs. Two Spurs Team mates. Cut from the same cloth. Taught the Spurs way. Quick. Easy and accurate. If the player didn’t respond to the Manager, simply one winner!
Antonio instilling a belief that if you’re going to get beaten, do so with your pride intact and without a surrender mentality. Next step is for players to accept it and expect it from those around them, and to drive home the message if someone is caving in

I don’t trust newspapers or social media.
I don’t usually agree with pundits.
I’m not on the firm, nose in the trough or a "toe the line" man.
I do trust my experienced eyes and football brain.
I would like to congratulate
@HKane
for breaking my European game appearances record with his selection in last nights’ match.
Good luck on Sunday too and

I was taught by Bill Nick + Keith Burkinshaw and realise how patience can bear fruit as proven by players like Chivers, Bale & Kane with the danger of instant judgements.
I’m not a lover of football Chairmen making/taking football decisions.
I do TRUST Ange!

The Club is extremely saddened to learn of the passing of former player and manager Terry Venables.
Our deepest condolences are with Terry’s friends and family at this incredibly difficult time. In tribute, we shall hold a minute’s applause prior to kick-off and our players will
This brilliant photo is from my book 'A Spur Forever'. I was representing the England Schoolboys team (U/15’s).
I eventually signed for Spurs at the end of the 1966/67 season, having left school at 15 years old.
Many thanks to My Club and everyone who has wished me a happy birthday today, it’s greatly appreciated. Looking forward to Christmas and the Premier League starting again. And big congrats to SP podcast guest Steve Borthwick on his

I was at a friend’s 70th today so missed the Newcastle win but heard that once again

had an exceptional game. Well played sir, long may you continue doing such a good job in Spurs defence. Also heard the crowd were immense and were rewarded for their passion. Steve x
What a privilege to know, play & be in the same room as the greatest goal scorer of my + any era. The man was a genius, so cool when everyone else rushed around. Glided over v poor pitches and saw the humour in any situation! (Part 1)
Today: free running / free thinking performance, especially after recent setbacks.

top class. No negativity anywhere. Middle third sharp and incisive and can open anyone up! SP x

Huge respect for a trusted colleague and terrific footballer. Sincere condolences to Bonnie and family for your sad loss.

The key to SP is via respect!
I don’t need a blazer, suit, badge, even a wall drawing or title to prove my devotion to the THFC cause.
That involves giving my honest opinion on various football playing matters and having a voice to do so.
A Spur Forever says it all. SP
Happy birthday to my great friend

Thanks everyone for the good wishes, very much appreciated. This bad hip lasted an extra 7 years after it was highlighted when my first hip needed work.
It was 10 years ago today that I suffered an aortic dissection but thanks to some truly incredible people I’m fit and well and raring to go

I was invited to Oxford Utd v Wycombe W yesterday and met some great old friends and saw a brilliant local derby match. Many thanks to

for the memories.
Huge respect to the loss of our great friend & colleague John Duncan.
Rest Peacefully Sir, I will never forget your considered & educated take on life with a goal scoring knack that was effective as much as surprising at times with a touch of character + understanding too.
We were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of our former player John Duncan, who died on Saturday at the age of 73.
We should like to extend our deepest condolences to his family and friends at this sad time.
Our honour and privilege to be invited to the magnificent training ground to have a celebratory lunch remembering our European success of 1984.
Many thanks to Donna Cullen, Tony Stephens and The Lodge Staff for making it a wonderful occasion.
We today welcomed members of our 1984 UEFA Cup winning squad to the Club, including manager Keith Burkinshaw, for a lunch to celebrate the upcoming 40th anniversary of the achievement, with Ange attending to say what an honour it was to meet them 🤝
A sad reminder that it was Gilly’s funeral 3 years ago. But what a lineup in the pic. Some medals and years of Spurs’ service in this group! RIP Gilly x

50 years ago today, lightning struck twice for a defensive-minded player who was lucky to have two shots in a game let alone score two goals. I'll never forget it!

A much younger SP saw my Mum (Joyce) as someone who was always home, never left the house, other than family shopping (on her bike), and either washing, ironing, cleaning, or cooking for her all-male family.
Younger fans may not remember that Graeme Souness was a Spur. We won the FA youth cup together! Delighted he could appear on my pod - coming out later today.... here’s some pics!
