For the 8th time in 15 seasons, the Chargers are SWSC Conference Champions! Nick Tamayo's game-winning goal off of an Adrian Bieda pass was the game winner. Tamayo added another one from the spot moments later. Jan Miazek and Co. posted their 10th shutout this season!

Rodrigo Hernandez tallied the lone goal with a spectacular finish. Piotr Zawislan had the assist. Jose Flores and Co. post their 12th clean sheet. Once again, Dawid Kurzeja’s defensive play helped keep the potent Bloom attack at bay.

Lyons for 80 minutes. Nick Soto’s corner found Kacper Dziubek to give Stagg the early lead 1-0. Lyons tied it with 23 left with a beautiful low strike from 25 out. Stagg had 2 great chances inside the final 5 minutes but the result was a draw. Stagg is 6-1-1.

After 100 minutes, penalties decided the championship. Jose Flores had 2 saves in the shootout. With their 18th win, the Chargers win their 10th SWSC Championship.

The Chargers season came to an end on Friday as they lost a heart breaker to Marist 1-0 in the Regional Championship. We have never been more proud of our boys for their effort and heart throughout the entire season. They fought to the end together and have a lot to be proud of!

Bart Jaskowski’s header with :01 left in regulation was the game winner in a rainy, physical battle against a quality St. Ignatius side. Nick Soto had the game winning assist. Abdallah Omar tied the match at 1-1 off of Kamil Bak’s cross.
Our program finished the 2022 campaign with a record of 51-7-4, a trifecta of SWSC Conference Championships and an IHSA 3A Regional Championship. A lot to be proud of boys.

Bart Jaskowski’s golden touch returned as he buried the game winner from 30 yards to lift the Chargers over a fantastic Joliet West side. Piotr Zawislan tallied a net finder early in the match off of a Jaskowski assist. Stagg is now 15-3-1.

Our program went 25-5-0 and won 3 SWSC Conference titles this season. We learned what it means to Sweep the Shed, to Keep a Blue Head and to play Blue Collar Soccer. Looking forward to getting back to work in June for next year. Thank you to all who supported us this season!

Down 1-0, Stagg battled back to tie the match with under a minute left in the 1st half. Junior Bart Jaskowski’s assist to fellow junior Kacper Dziubek notched the match at 1 apiece. 2 minutes into the 2nd half, senior Nick Soto assisted senior Abdallah Omar for the winner.
