SPWT staff teams have been working together to prepare and deliver food bags to students and their families that are isolating. We hope that the students and their families are keeping well and safe. We look forward to seeing everyone back after half-term.

Congratulations to Professor Brian Cox, who has recently been made a CBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List! Professor BC is a patron of SPWT and has supported the school in many ways including hosting all 9 of our Science Summer Schools for the past 9 years.

SPWT students planted 49 saplings in the local Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park. An amazing opportunity to raise awareness around environmental issues whilst empowering students to do their bit in tackling climate change and working towards improving London's air quality.
Last Wednesday/Thursday, 15 Yr12 students represented SPW in Model UN Conference at Mulberry School. Our students represented Thailand, Turkey, Kenya, and Afghanistan discussing water security and sanitation worldwide. 5 of our students won awards for outstanding contributions!
School Council representatives have been delivering Christmas gifts donated by SPW staff and students to elderly residents of a local care home this afternoon, as part of the school value of community

This week the year 9s took part in a Stand Up event which is anti-discrimination interfaith project. It was an interactive workshop where students learnt about and how to act against racism and discrimination.
