I just realized the ‘Ol Tremblay Wing has grown quite a bit since my last update! As currently constituted, it includes:
83 books
65 signed copies
9 foreign language editions
2 signed movie posters
1 signed CD
1 signed Funko Pop
1 restraining order (JK!)
Not too shabby, huh? 😃
I saw Salem’s Lot was trending and I just wanted to say that taking everything into consideration, particularly my age when I first watched it (11), I still consider this to be the most frightening scene from any
#horror
movie I’ve ever seen. It absolutely terrified me.
@manylittlewords
I learned in
@cjtudor
The Chalk Man that they’re actually called “bum bags”. Is that correct? Because I gotta be honest...bum bags actually made ME fall about laughing 😂😂😂
I can’t wrap my head around the fact that the band that played a concert in our living room in 2015 just sold out Madison Square Garden in one day 😳
@AJRBrothers
I can’t begin to tell you how excited I am that Hollywood has finally seen fit to adapt one of
@paulGtremblay
books onto film! And isn’t M. Night Shyamalan the PERFECT director for a Tremblay adaptation?! KNOCK AT THE CABIN comes out in Feb ‘23 and I am so here for it!! 😃
MY CO-WORKER: So. How was your night?
ME: Not too bad. One of my favorite authors,
@TananariveDue
posted a graphic that included my tweet about her book after
@StephenKing
quote-tweeted it. You know…just another typical Wednesday night.
I’m curious…who’s your favorite “new to you” author?
For me, it’s
@TananariveDue
I read GHOST SUMMER last year and fell head over heels in love with her exquisite writing. I’ve since read THE GOOD HOUSE and JOPLIN’S GHOST and can’t wait to dive into her latest, THE REFORMATORY.
I don’t usually announce these things because, frankly, I’ve always been a bit uncomfortable being in the spotlight. But what the hell? We’re all friends, right? And I’d like to include you guys in my little celebration.
Yep. Looks like this is 54! 😊🎂🎈
.
@KayeSteinsapir
I just want to say how very sorry I am for your family’s loss. I marvel at your strength. Molly was obviously so well loved and this complete stranger is literally weeping over her passing. I’m happy to make a donation to her foundation in her honor. 🙏🏻❤️
Being QT’d by Stephen King and blocked by someone whom you respect as much as anyone in the
#horror
community in the same week perfectly epitomizes the manic nature of this place and is exactly why I wonder on a daily basis why I stick around.
Take my word for it, THE PALLBEARERS CLUB is up there with
@paulGtremblay
very best. I so want you all to read it that I’m going to pre-order copies for two fellow readers. Simply LIKE and RT this post and I’ll pick two random winners on Friday 6/10. Good luck!
#BookGiveaway
Has anyone else heard of these wooden page holder thingies?? A friend showed me one today and I was amazed! It allows you to hold a book open with one hand so you can drink coffee, eat a sandwich, etc with the other hand! How cool is that?! 😀
Happy book birthday to me!! No. I haven’t written a book. At least not yet. But it is my birthday. And I’m definitely going to buy myself a book (or three)!! Cheers, everyone!! 😊
#ThisIs55
#BookGiveaway
THE PALLBEARERS CLUB is a brilliant piece of experimental
#horror
It’s super creepy and exquisitely foreboding. It’s also my favorite read of 2022. And I want to share it with you! Just RT this post and I’ll pick one winner of this signed copy on Fri 12/2 (US only)
In case you’re unaware,
@paulGtremblay
newest release THE PALLBEARERS CLUB is written as something of a “found footage” memoir/novel that has handwritten notes from the lead female character (who “found” the memoir) in the margins. 1/4
Only one week until the release of
@paulGtremblay
HORROR MOVIE!! To celebrate, I’m doing a
#BookGiveaway
Just follow me & RT this post. I’ll pick one winner of a SIGNED copy of Tremblay’s latest (and most frightening IMO) on Tuesday 6/11. International entries welcome. Good luck!
My wife and her three girlfriends tried to convince me to go out on the town with them tonight.
Me: I'd love to but I've already made some wild plans with my friends.
My Wife: Ok. Well have fun!
Me an hour later:
Hello friends!
I’m guessing that
@SGJ72
is far too humble to realize just how amazing it is for a
#horror
loving reader like me to sit mere feet from him as he reads aloud from one of his stories. It’s truly a moment I’ll never forget.
I finally hung the super cool KNOCK AT THE CABIN poster that
@paulGtremblay
was kind enough to sign for me and just had to post an updated
#TremblayWing
pic. I’ve also added a number of books. As you can see, they’ve begun creeping onto a third shelf. Talk about Growing Things!
As you may know
@paulGtremblay
is my all-time favorite
#horror
author. In honor of his birthday, I’m giving away one SIGNED copy of THE BEAST YOU ARE. Just comment with your favorite short story (it doesn’t have to be one of Paul’s) and I’ll pick a winner tomorrow. Good luck! 🥳
Most of you know how big a fan I am of
@paulGtremblay
His books are everything I look for in
#horror
and, frankly, fiction in general. So you can imagine how thrilled I was to receive an ARC of his upcoming novel SURVIVOR SONG. I feel like Charlie with his golden ticket!!
My wife and I drove up to Lake Winnipesaukee for our anniversary and would you look at this room?!! It’s got a freakin’ TREE in it!! And that little cabin looking thing is the bathroom! 😂
Oh. My. God! You guys!! My wife and kids got me my own
#LittleFreeLibrary
for Father’s Day!!! How cool is that?! They even gave me this rubber stamp with my address to help track the books as they go out into the world! I’m absolutely speechless ♥️♥️♥️
#BestGiftEver
29 years ago today this beautiful woman became my wife & completely altered the trajectory of my life. I simply cannot imagine a life without her in it. She has brought me more love & joy than I could ever express in a tweet. Happy anniversary, Judi. My heart is yours. Always ❤️
A riddle: What has two thumbs and met the first two Puerto Rican born Stoker Award winning authors in person?
👍🏻This guy!!👍🏻
Big congrats to
@Gabino_Iglesias
and
@cinapelayo
two of the most talented, hard-working, and supportive authors in the
#horror
business today 🖤🖤
.
@paulGtremblay
’s upcoming HORROR MOVIE is, to me, the most viscerally frightening and deeply unsettling of his novels. The book’s title, at first appearing simplistic (and perhaps incongruous) is actually a clever foreshadowing of what lies (in wait!) within its pages. 1/4
MY WIFE: Don’t you think you’re becoming a little obsessed with
@paulGtremblay
books?
ME: Obsessed?? Don’t be silly. I’m just a fan of the guy’s work, that’s all.
Also me…
I’ve been to a lot of author events and, frankly, I’ve genuinely enjoyed them all. But I’ve never experienced anything quite like the show
@grady_hendrix
put on last night. If you ever get the opportunity to go to one of his events I strongly suggest you take it! So much fun! 😃
At our Christmas party yesterday the president of the company I work for surprised me when she asked me to come up and join her in front of the entire workforce. Then, after acknowledging my 30 years with the company she presented me with this Tom Brady signed Patriots helmet! 😳
I’m giving away TWO signed copies of
@mikeclarkbooks
super creepy PATIENCE OF A DEAD MAN trilogy!! Plus some serious swag that Mike was kind enough to throw in! Just LIKE & RT this post & next Tuesday I’ll pick two random winners. Open to international
#horror
fans!
#BookGiveaway
I think it’s fitting that my final post (besides this one) should be a review of a Tremblay book, don’t you? I can’t tell you how much I appreciate the great friends I’ve made here. But all things must come to an end. Be good to each other 🖤
*re-posted to un-tag Paul.

@paulGtremblay
It probably says a lot about me that the missing pull on that one drawer bothers me more than the fact that the entire bureau is actually levitating.
I’m not sure if anyone is aware but last year I picked up the biggest addition to my
@paulGtremblay
collection yet…my very own Cabin at the End of the World! 😃
It took a lot of willpower not to buy
@StephenKing
YOU LIKE IT DARKER on release day. But there’s something special about picking up Uncle Steve’s newest releases at Bridgton Books in his old stomping grounds of Bridgton, Maine.
Well, it looks like
@StephenKing
was right! Although, I learned that when I read THE REFORMATORY for myself. Huge congrats to the generationally talented
@TananariveDue
on her extremely well-deserved Stoker Award for Superior Achievement in a Novel last night! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Dear
@JordanPeele
Have you read THE REFORMATORY by
@TananariveDue
? If you haven’t, I strongly suggest you do.
That way I won’t have to drop to my knees and beg you and
@Monkeypaw
to adapt it onto film. Because you’ll decide to do it on your own.
And it could be a masterpiece.
Huge congrats to my friend
@real_christaqua
on her Stoker Award win for Superior Achievement in a First Novel for her wonderful debut THE DAUGHTERS OF BLOCK ISLAND!! Christa!! How cool is this?!! 😃
My Mom gave birth to seven kids in eleven years and raised us with little help from my alcoholic father. When my parents divorced in 1980 she went back to work full time to support us kids, six of whom were under the age of 18. Often taking the bus when her car wouldn’t run. 1/2
I promised an update on my little horror book shelf project. Well, here it is! It’s got Carmen Corner, the MacLeod/McMahon Room and, of course, the Tremblay Wing. I have to admit, I’m kinda freaking out over this 😍
@christaqua
@paulGtremblay
@BrackenMacLeod
@jennifermcmahon
Man. This place is not only overflowing with negativity, it’s populated by so many who seem to revel in it. I’ve met some genuinely amazing people here but the truth is this site has absolutely become a net negative for me.
I’m gonna go get some fresh air.
Last year I had the pleasure of sitting a few feet from
@SGJ72
during one of his live readings. And now, as I’m finally getting into MY HEART IS A CHAINSAW I can hear Stephen’s voice in my head as I read. As you might imagine, it’s like one of the coolest things of all time.
.
@SadieHartmann
’s 101 HORROR BOOKS TO READ BEFORE YOU’RE MURDERED is easily my most anticipated release. Sadie and I have been friends since her Sadie Reads Them All days and I honestly get teary-eyed when I think of how far she’s come in the
#horror
game. She’s simply amazing.
MY CO-WORKERS: So, what did you do this weekend?
ME: I re-organized my books.
MY NON-READER CO-WORKERS: Seriously? That’s it?
MY READER CO-WORKERS: Holy shit! I’m surprised you made it in today.
In case you’re wondering: Yes, I’m well aware of how annoying my constant tweeting about
@paulGtremblay
has likely become. That said, check out the updates to my library’s Tremblay Wing!! By removing the bookends I was able to go from 15 books to 19 (13 signed!) 😁
#sorrynotsorry
It was only a matter of time. The
@paulGtremblay
Wing has taken over a second shelf. Geez. If Paul were as prolific as
@StephenKing
I’d have to put an addition on my house! The books on the top shelf are all signed. The ones on the bottom are waiting (semi) patiently!
Man. I have found myself in a bit of a quandary. I have long considered DISAPPEARANCE AT DEVIL’S ROCK to be my favorite
@paulGtremblay
book. Kind of a favorite among favorites, if you will. It was my first and remains my most nostalgic Tremblay read. However… 1/5
Many of you know that
@almakatsu
is an amazingly talented writer. What you may not know is that she’s also a truly wonderful human being. I’ve met Alma twice and on both occasions she made me feel like SHE’D come to see ME instead of the other way around. She is just the best 🖤
A question for my fellow
@paulGtremblay
fans. Does anyone else consider DISAPPEARANCE AT DEVIL’S ROCK to be their favorite of his works?
If not, could you at least confirm that this book actually exists? I sometimes feel like I may have imagined it in some fever dream. Thanks.
Bookcase upgrade complete! Man. I’d love to say this was a fun weekend project but the truth of it is that I probably worked harder on this than I’ll work at my actual job tomorrow! REALLY happy with the end result, though 📚🖤
How cool is this?! Last night I put up this shelf of beautiful reclaimed wood and bracketed it with industrial black pipe fittings. It’s 4ft long and holds a LOT of books!
And best of all? My library finally got its Tremblay Wing!!
@paulGtremblay
This shout-out to
@paulGtremblay
is a classy gesture by Shyamalan. One that I’m sure is greatly appreciated by Paul. I know it’s appreciated by Paul’s legion of fans and the
#HorrorCommunity
as a whole. I could not be more excited than I am for this film!
Wow! Thank you so much for making
@KnockAtTheCabin
my most watched trailer of my career. I’m really grateful. Much love to all involved and especially to
@paulGtremblay
whose book The Cabin at the end of the World inspired the film.
When I first started on this site I would’ve never believed that one day 4000 of you would find me interesting enough to deserve a follow. It’s not the number that means so much to me. It’s the great friends I’ve made along the way. I’m truly thankful for every one of you 🙏🏻❤️
I just found out my friend Eddie passed away tonight. He’d been in poor health the past couple of years but it’s still a bit of a surprise. I just saw him last week and he looked well. He was one of the greatest guys I’ve ever known and I’m gonna miss him like hell.
#RIPEddie
❤️
A thousand thanks to
@paulGtremblay
for this ARC of his upcoming novel HORROR MOVIE. And a thousand more for waiting until he’d gotten these ultra-cool slipcased editions! The Wing is an extremely happy place this day, my friends.
So, I’m spending the weekend all by myself at our little cabin in Maine. Here’s my itinerary for the day:
1. Coffee
2. Visit used bookstore
3. Read while listening to the rain pattering on the roof
4. Taco run
5. Visit comic book store
6. Horror movie
7. Read (in bed)
8. 😴
I’ve so enjoyed watching all of the
#BookTalk
readings inspired by the great
@Gabino_Iglesias
that I decided to give it a go. Of course, I hate it! But what the hell. Here’s my Boston accented take on Mary Shelley’s masterpiece, Frankenstein...😬
So, I took a nice walk, found a cozy spot, and a got a few outdoor pages in this morning. Coffee, a good book, and the ocean. Who could possibly ask for more? 😊
Ok, friends. I won’t be around much for the rest of today. I’ve got to go see a damned good man off on his final voyage. Rest easy, Eddie. You lived life to the fullest. And my life was better because you were in it. I’ll see you when I see you, brother ❤️
The outpouring of praise for
@DanielDKraus
WHALEFALL has generated more FOMO than I can bear. I’m going in! And I’m going in armed!!
“To the last, I grapple with thee; From Hell's heart (AKA the corner chair), I stab at thee!”
Everything’s coming up Tremblay this week! My new custom t-shirt arrived yesterday. Inspired by my fellow author stalker…I mean…ah…super-fan
@stevestred
How cool is this?!
#ReadPaulTremblay
The moment
@claymcleod
noticed me at his book event last night he came over, put his hand on my shoulder, and asked me what was going on and was I ok. I told him I was fine and really enjoying my time away from social media, which is absolutely true. It’s been pretty great. 1/4
This is my buddy
@sjgomzi
Every day he puts his own cares aside in order to care for others. He’s also the biggest
@StephenKing
fan I know. If Mr. King were kind enough to give Steven a shout out I know it would mean the world to him. Let’s see if we can make it happen! Please RT
