"I do well vs good players but not bad players" Often used as fighting game cope but is a clear sign of a big weakness to fix. The ability to punish bad play consistently is how you beat good players after forcing mistakes and is the diff between looking good and being good.

Chikurin is a real professional man. Tekken 7 came out crazy, no bs no complaining dude dropped Jin and picked Akuma/Geese. Leroy came out...no bs no complaining dude started optimizing his Leroy. Tekken 8...dude just been grinding Lili in silence and adapting to the game.

Street Fighter is a salt inducing game because losses are more often strategy issues than yomi/RPS issues. Getting outplayed means losing to a playstyle outside of your imagination which feels like "this dude is playing incorrectly/scrubby".

There's a phase in FGs where you're bad & trying to learn to play the game well, but you're not good enough yet so you lose to people who are worse and not trying to learn. The more they buff strings/armor, and nerf spacing tools..the harder this phase is to escape in Tekken lol

Couple days ago I got speedran by a Lily player in ranked. He accepted my FR, joined my lobby, beat me 2-10, answered my questions, broke the char down, ran it back and I was able to go 5-4. Impossible to overstate my appreciation for the help of this random Lily god.

Victor animations are a real issue. He got like 5 different moves where he’s swiping up with them batarangs and some are safe and ones a low LOL I’ve defended against Baek Doo San in tournament but the Victor bot in punishment practice be messing me up 😭
