Intimacy after sexual abuse, I was forced at 8 years old to do things a child should never have to do. Husband, wives, be patient with us survivors, sometimes when you come on too aggressive it takes us back to a bad place. Talk it out and wait for a better moment. Hugs

As a sexually abused child, I hated when my parents would force me to hug someone. As a survivor, I let my child, grandchildren hug on their terms. It’s okay to just say hi. Let them know they are in control who they want in their space.
