@graciefacelove Nope. Not me. I was never a huge Trump fan, but he ended up being better than I expected and a million times better than LGB. However, most of my family still adores Trump, but would staunchly oppose mandates even from him. They are God first. Liberty second. Trump third.

@txsalth2o My husband's sister is a middle school English in Iowa. She is pissed that she can no longer offer sexually explicit books to students. She says allowing them to read about sex is the only way she can get many of them interested in reading. Sounds like a subpar teacher to me.

Both my husband and I had to fight to keep our jobs B/C we decided NOT to vax. We lived under months of stress believing we would be unemployed.

@rifi_s My step dad (2 months after Moderna). Esophagal cancer. I dont think the "vax" caused the cancer b/c he was an antacid (ab)user. However, the "vax" may have caused his very rapid decline (less than 2 months from diagnosis) and a stroke (no history) just before his death.

@SClarified In 1952 alone, 21000 us children were paralyzed and over 3100 died. Polio was a far more serious disease for children. For most kids, C19 is asymptiomatic or a mild cold. However, we KNOW that the C19 "vax" has potential side effects...especially in young people.

However, many of them gladly took Regeneron monoclonals b/c it actually works. People need to educate themselves on the difference.

@AwakenedLegal I actually think the monoclonal antibodies had the biggest impact on Rogan's recovery. Ivermectin may have some efficacy especially if mAbs aren't available, IMO Regeneron is the real game changer. Unfortunately, it is expensive and like most treatments, not widely available.

Interesting observation. As I've driven through SW Montana, businesses are fully staffed. I haven't seen a single Help Wanted/Now Hiring sign (even in Butte). Yet, the labor shortage is a HUGE problem in OR. Is it lack of work ethic, availability of entitlements, cultural?

@nasty_canasta I lost my job. My husband's exemption was accepted, but this is Oregon so that exemption will likely be revoked. He will walk away from a long career (with my full support). Thankfully, we don't have kids and we have an emergency fund (thanks Dave Ramsey).

Spent a couple of days with vaxed family members (in close proximity) and started my period for a day. I'm in menopause and that is the first time I've had that happen. Coincidence? I dont think so. I know when I decided to stop masking this Spring, it was a lot easier when my husband and I were together. Now, we've both been doing it so long (with almost zero push back) maskless solo is in my comfort zone.

@stacey_rudin Same here. Worked around people throughout the pandemic, holidays with family, restaurants and taprooms that were open and mask free during lockdowns, etc. However, I do supplement with vit D3, vit C, zinc, healthy diet and very active outdoor lifestyle (year round).

I am a suburban woman. Trump has never done well with this demographic. He lost in 2020 primarily b/c they rejected his behavior and drama. At the time, Biden seemed more stable. DeSantis needs to highlight his stability and seriousness and hammer Trump for the chaos he brings

We are back to mandatory masking at work b/c we've had cases (vaxed and unvaxed). This is f'ing ridiculous. Almost everyone here has had Covid which they got during the last mask mandate...AND...most of them are "vaxed" and boosted. Unless it is an N95...the masks do nothing.

@kylamb8 Looks like it bans public indecency. No singling out of gay, trans, straight, etc. Of course I knew that would be the case even before I actually read the law.
