Taylor Rooks: “I think it could be Luka’s night.”
Draymond: “I don’t think Luka will ever play hard enough at an All Star game to win MVP. Luka is like Joker, they don’t care.”
Luka Doncic beat all these MVP candidates this season, averages 28-9-9, has no All Star on his roster, and still gets ZERO respect in the MVP race! 😤😤😤
• Loves cars, farms and dogs
• Proud Slovenian
• Proud Texan
• Huge Real Madrid fan
• With the same gal for half of his life
• No scandals
• Caring father
• Best player in the NBA
• Always funny
• Takes his job seriously
Why is he so disliked by the US media? 🤔
Maxi on Kyrie:
“He’s a good teammate, man. He lifts everybody up all the time, he found good words for me. He was there all the time, I had like a bad stretch the last game towards the end, so he just lifted me up, helped me, you know, as a teammate.”
“Journalists” who need their NBA MVP vote revoked, my top 10:
1. Stephen A. Smith
2. Bill Simmons
3. Tim Bontemps
4. Tim MacMahon
5. Brian Windhorst
6. Michael Wilbon
7. Kendrick Perkins
8. Chris Mannix
9. Frank Isola
10. JJ Redick
What’s your top 10? Did I forget anyone?
Kyrie on Luka for NBA TV: “What gets overshadowed for me and Luka specifically is how good of a teammates we are on and off the floor. […] I have a ton of respect for him, he has a ton of respect for me.”
Tim Legler can’t stop praising the Mavs and Luka as Brian Windhorst silently watches:
“I’m tellin ya, I’m falling in love with this Dallas team. There’s an electricity about them, there’s a belief! Luka is playing harder defensively, he’s setting more of a tone…”
Luka scores 73 pts. ESPN:
“What happened in Atlanta was a disgrace.”
Luka and the Mavs win 5 in a row. ESPN:
“Why don’t players want to play with Luka?”
Name me another superstar that has so many agendas pushed after he does something amazing.

This guy Kawamura is 22 years old and 172 cm tall (5-8). He destroyed NBA All Star Markkanen and Finland and lead Japan to their first win over a European team. That’s just pure insanity!
Best game so far in Okinawa! 🇯🇵
Grant Williams showing support to Luka’s MVP bid on IG.
Didn’t MacMahon imply he was traded away, because he was a bad team mate who didn’t wear Luka’s shoes? 🤔
Stan van Gundy: "I think the best offensive player now that I've ever seen is Luka Dončić!”
A huge case for Luka’s MVP and massive praise by a legendary coach.
Slovenian coach Sekulić named Filipino fans as one of the reasons why Luka played today in a game that had no implications. Here is Luka surrounded by these amazing fans. Footage by

It’s funny how this bond between Luka and Kyrie is not a story, because it goes against the “nobody wants to play with Luka” and “Kyrie is a bad team mate” agendas. I’m not sure I’ve seen Kyrie happier on any team before, and he’s been Luka’s most talented team mate so far.
Kyrie Irving (34 pts, 9 rebs, 7 asts) and Luka Dončić (27 pts, 9 rebs, 8 ast) combined for 61 points, 18 rebounds and 15 assists in tonight’s win over San Antonio. It marked the first time they each recorded 25+ points, 8+ rebounds and 5+ assists in the same game as teammates.
No change to the MVP ladder from last week, yet:
• Mavs won 6 in a row
• Thunder got shredded by the Mavs
• Bucks are 2-5 in their last 7
• Nuggets lost 3 in a row, Jokić played bad
I have a feeling follows a script, not what’s actually happening.
’s updated MVP Ladder:
1. Nikola Jokic
2. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
3. Giannis Antetokounmpo
4. Luka Doncic
5. Jayson Tatum
6. Kawhi Leonard / Domantas Sabonis
8. Donovan Mitchell
9. Kevin Durant
10. Anthony Davis
Let me remind you that a 23 year old Luka beat a 64-win 1st seed in their own gym without an All Star like AD, and that franchise hasn’t recovered since.

Luka Doncic is the second player in NBA history to average 35+ PPG, 8+ RPG, and 10+ APG in a month (min. 10 games).
He joins Oscar Robertson, who did so in Dec. 1960.
ESPN in scramble mode as Luka and the Mavs won their 7th game in a row, now prepping up SGA:
“This kid SGA is a supastar blossoming before our very eyes […] who btw can rival a Luka, or I say even eclipse him […] we gotta stop ignoring this kid!”
Luka with one of the toughest games of his career:
22 pts
15 reb
5 ast
2 stl
Played almost 40 min, got body slammed, elbowed in the mouth, could barely walk at times… Rocky 1, man. Rocky 1.
It SGA did this, we’d be hearing about it on every national media talkshow and podcast, how this game put him over Jokić. But because this is Luka, they’re just pretending as if it never happened.
VIDEO: Draymond Green on who’s his favorite NBA player to watch besides Steph: “Luka. Luka… different.” — great respect for
@luka7doncic
from a true champion (via The Volume Podcast)
This season Luka had:
1 x 73 pt game
1 x 50 pt game
10 x 40+ pt games
17 x 35+ pt games
16 x 30+ pt games
8 x 25+ pt games
2 x 20+ pt games
Only 4 games under 20
People don’t realize how insane this is.
BREAKING: Luka is now leading the NBA in ppg and at the same time has the most TOTAL POINTS despite playing 7 less games than the
#2
guy Shy Gilgamesh-Alexander! Yet another stat that solidifies Luka’s MVP case ✍️
Reactions to Embiid’s 70 pts and Luka’s 73 pts were vastly different. ESPN’s reporter Tim MacMahon who is responsible to cover the Mavs didn’t tweet or write anything, and the media is already trying to water down the accomplishment. Now tell me there is no bias 🤔
Great moment caught on camera between Kief Morris and Luka at the end of the game. Morris couldn’t believe Luka had another amazing triple double and a win. I love this team, the chemistry, the broship.
Yudai Baba in tears, Lauri Markkanen completely shook. This was an amazing performance by the underdog Japan, who are considered the 36th best team in the world, way behind Finland. This is why I love these tournaments, so much more emotions than the NBA.
SGA missed 6 games recently, but “displayed smoothness” in a win over the bum San Antonio, so he’s now climbed over Luka in the MVP ladder. You can’t make this sh*t up, this is comical 🤡🤡🤡
Luka never gives up and never gets credit for it. He’s playing 46 min on a second night of a B2B with a depleted team.
Embiid meanwhile ducking tough games and getting all the praise. NBA media is disgusting.
Bill Simmons on why he had SGA 2nd in MVP over Luka:
- The two way play
- the burden he has on offense
- how many good games he had
- the consistency
- how often he goes to the line
- He had a kind of “unnatural burden”
Unbelievable verbal diarrhea by Bill.
You draft a young guy who is now the best player in the G-League.
Instead of calling him up to give him a chance, you opt to sign a washed veteran guard no other team wanted to touch.
We’re getting the full Kidd experience.
No tweet about Luka from LeBron and pretty much any other NBA star player besides Draymond Green and Kyrie Irving. When Flopbiid got his 70 a lot of them were congratulating him. Any idea why this is? 🤔
The duality of the Ringer network. Talking down Kyrie before season only to now use him against Luka’s MVP case. The suits behind First Take are very impressed.
DeMarcus Cousins befuddled after asked whether Mavs can win a chip with Luka’s usage rate: “Outside of Kyrie Irving, who the hell else is gonna have the ball in their hands? I wanna hear a suggestion on who should have the ball more than Luka Doncic?”
Denver’s record when they gifted Jokić his 2nd MVP vs Mavs record right now and Luka’s still not even in top 3 conversation. We have to keep exposing this bias 👇
Luka has now won 7 games in a row and has averaged 30-10-9 in that stretch. His team is top 3 in defensive rating.
Why are we only hearing about Ant? Wasn’t y’all saying Luka can’t be the MVP, because he ain’t winning? He’s winning now and Mavs moved up to top 6, yet crickets 🦗
SAS about Mavs like a kid force-fed broccoli 🥦:
“I believe in Luka Dončik and I believe in Kyrie Irving. With Luker averaging over 34 pt and damn near triple-double we’ve been talking about Luka as we should, but I would like to remind the world you have Kyrie averaging 27.”
Luka fixed all these things this season as compared to last:
- Out of shape.
- Doesn’t play defense.
- Complains to much.
- Advanced stats.
- Play offball.
- Play fast.
- Team wins.
But whatever he does, they move the goal posts to rob him of the deserved MVP.
Look at this chemistry, it feels like a family. So much garbage is being spewed over Luka and Kyrie, and these dudes are not only ballers, they’re two of the nicest guys off the court. The media couldn’t be more wrong about these two 🤦🏻♂️
Dorian Finney-Smith is one of the best off- and on-ball perimeter defenders in the NBA. Nobody is more deserving of an All Defensive First Team spot than him this season. |
