Excited to share our new publication showing benefits of bariatric endoscopy on NAFLD (thank you @AmCollegeGastro )! Endoscopic gastric plication is associated with regression of hepatic fibrosis, i.e. improvement in ALT, NFS, FIB-4 and LSM on fibroscan.

Congratulations to @Eric_Swei on the outstanding research by fellows-in-training award (obesity category) and the Presidential Poster award at #ACG2021 . Our project showed patients who were aware that they received IGB lost 57% greater weight loss than those who were blinded.
