“Right now is not the time to act like a little delinquent. It’s not funny. This child made a fake threat, and now he’s experiencing real consequences,” stated Sheriff Carmine Marceno.

King was evaluated by a veterinarian; he suffered from bruising and swelling in his neck area. King was surrendered and will remain at the Lee County Domestic Animal Services until he is adopted into a loving home.
Detectives responded immediately & arrested Beckham for aggravated animal cruelty.
“When we first made contact with McLeod he simply said, ‘what, I can’t reprimand my dog?’ What you see there is not reprimanding, IT’S CRUEL…IT’S ABUSE!” said Sheriff Carmine Marceno.

At 9:45 this morning, Bonita Springs CP Deputies responded to Bonita National to reports of a Florida Panther sleeping near a stairwell behind shrubs. We notified FWC, which arrived on scene and humanely captured the panther. The panther will be evaluated for a health screening.

On Dec. 4, deputies responded to Abaco Lakes and Dolce Vista Rd after learning that a dog named Hannah was stuck in mangroves.
Deputies located Hannah who was unharmed but in need of assistance.
Deputies got her out of the mangroves safely and reunited her with her family.
