People who were fans at the time will remember the fact he could have left for a fee but strung everyone along saying he would sign a new deal right until the end. If he had been honest it may have helped. He could have signed for any club in Europe but chose to go for free there
Wow I am seeing some enormous overreactions on here tonight. Did anyone really think we would go from last seasons debacle to being a top side in two windows?
@JacoCats
Different style of play and his pace will be an asset can play through the middle or wide. What’s not to like, also pressures richi and the wings
@LeeMcQueen
The owners have allowed this to happen. Poor oversight lack of planning and strategy. ‘DNA’ Load of codswallop. Get a manager back him, move on players who have let four managers down, sell the odd player even if it is painful to fund the changes we need.

It was disdainful, they seem irked to be questioned. They are custodians and fans who pay over the odds for the ‘product’ have the right for clarity. The board are reluctant to take responsibility for their errors
Ange Postecoglou has identified Werner as player who would suit his plans due to his pace, intensity and ability to meet the pressing demands key to his tactical plans.

Hojberg has been awful when he starts games most of this season. For me this is the next area to address need another cm who is more box to box in the ange mould
@JacoCats
It’s unacceptable Jaco. Number 1 priority should have been a quick cb for this system and it’s two weeks till kick off. Why can’t the club learn from previous mistakes!!

@THFCRideOrDie
Disagree Jaco. Think the love is there and he will be fully Coys after career, but he can’t go through his career without winning. Our owners have no desire to win or compete. They are satisfied with 6th
