Sea otters don’t drink fresh water, but instead they get their water from the food that they eat and the ice that they consume. 🧊

Mid week scalp massage 😴 Sea otters groom after every meal to make sure all the oils from their food are washed away. Their thick fur insulates their bodies by trapping tiny air bubbles and keeping a layer between the outer surface and their skin.
All cuteness aside,
#WorldOtterDay
is a day to increase awareness of the challenges otters face like habitat destruction, fur trade, and pollution. Like and retweet to help raise
