intersection of 3rd Ave S & 7th St S in downtown Minneapolis tonight.
Again, the State of Minnesota has unlimited resources for military occupations of our communities & cities. At every corner, on every street. This state values the protection of property over residents’ lives.

I’m old enough to remember when this country opposed becoming a police state. Then we gave them military equipment, on the the most unlikely chance our police would need heavy duty protection. They couldn’t wait to use it to play war games. Now we need protection from them!🥺😡
@SeanLimMN
I know it’s like yelling into the Grand Canyon but I’ll try anyway. Most citizens see this as a necessary but hopefully limited action as a result of last summer. The anger and grief is real and justified. The looting and chaos is not.

ID: A line of miltiary and police vehicles parked tightly along a street next to glossy downtown buildings. The line includes 1 marked cop SUV and at least 10 National Guard vehicles, some with what may be LRADs mounted. The line extends under a pedestrian walkway & out of sight.
@SeanLimMN
Every major city can somehow afford surplus military equipment, but we're told it's heinous to ask that they get defunded.
LRADs, tear gas, riot gear don't get used against foreign powers or nationals. They get used against us, the people, for saying they have too much.
@SeanLimMN
Where are the 2A people with their militias to combat a military presence on the streets of an American city? This is their chance to back up their rhetoric. I won't hold my breath.
