@atsumooz @EmanatingAuras oh that actually has an explanation. the Atsuko in Liyue is the real one, and the one who you encounter in Inazuma (before doing Ei's second story quest) is actually a Bake-Danuki in disguise as her. after Ei's second story quest however, Atsuko returns home

@faintlamps like, i can personally point out several details they added into Mondstadt, Liyue is their passion, and Inazuma does have lots of clearly researched aspects. i refuse to believe they simply "forgot" to research the cultures Sumeru is based on
