Wish these “journalists” were with us back then to protect journalism in the Maldives when reporters were beaten, jailed, tortured & stopped from attending press at PO in addition to exorbitant fines imposed on TV stations simply for reporting facts by the former government.
We should encourage kids go to school, become future engineers, scientists, mathematicians, physicists, and be part of the solution against dangers of climate change. Education is no doubt the most important tool needed to solve climate crisis.

Waves generated by monsoon in the Indian Ocean getting bigger & stronger, attacking our coastlines mercilessly. Past 2 months we r witnessing heavy flooding literally putting several of islands underwater. These incidents are becoming too frequent. This is very worrying.
Developed world must accept that they bear responsibility for the climate crisis we are facing. In Maldives sea level is rising at 4mm/yr not because of our own actions. We need 4 times of our budget just to protect shorelines of inhabited islands. Surely we cannot do it alone!
