In his own typically immature fashion, Scott Moe called Randy Weekes a "sore loser", after the Speaker did the right thing by calling out the sick bullies in the Sask Party. This has been quite a day in the Leg, and one I hope Sask voters don't forget.

Claiming teachers are asking for 23.5% is an outright lie. The teachers' salary ask is in the conciliation report: 2% + cost of leaving each year for 4 years, to recover their 8.5% of lost purchasing power. Moe and Cockrill are lying liars. Teachers will strike again Jan 22.

Moe's defence of parental "choice" is preparing the ground for charter schools, a privatized system where schools compete for students. The rationale is increased "choice", but the outcome is increased inequality and poorer quality education. #legacyofabuse

The Sask Party are lying to us. The government, NOT local school boards, must bargain working conditions, because the government controls Sask education funding. In 2009 they took away school divisions' ability to adjust the mill rate. The govt controls all education spending.

Sask Ed funding per student was $15,200 in 2013. Today it is $10,500 per student. Class sizes had to get larger, resources had to be cut, and there aren't enough teachers or EAs. The Sask Party did this. Please call your MLA, and, on election day, #VoteOutSaskParty

Sask was once a leader in Canada. In 1947 we were the first Canadian province to pass Human Rights legislation. In 1962 we were the first to pass Medicare-for-All. In 2023, under Scott Moe, we are the first Canadian province to remove vulnerable children's rights.
