BREAKING: COVID-19: We're studying information suggesting that funds meant to be shared among the country's poorest and most vulnerable people are being pocketed by some officials. We promise: we'll fight to expose whoever is stealing from the poor and hold them to account.

@SERAPNigeria @YarKafanchan You guys should calm down. The ones you exposed what has become of them. My own is whoever looted the money meant for the poor, or downtrodden is cursed for life. My fear is just for their generation to come cos a lot of them wouldn’t know what irresponsibility caused them

@SERAPNigeria @asemota It's bound to happen. I wrote on how just Lagos can avert this from happening through exemplary leadership. “COVID — 19 Shutdown in Nigeria: How Lagos State Can Set the Pace through Innovative Solutions” by Victor Magneto Ugochukwu

@SERAPNigeria The real purpose of adopting the physical cash sharing is to encourge looting as usual like the trader money Let those with bank acc be paid electronically and let others who don't have use their trusted relatives accounts With that the cash will flow across the country quickly

@SERAPNigeria And they will bring their relatives & proxies to come & collect on their behalf. This is what we suspect will play out so I'm not surprised. This our leaders are not clueless, they are simply callous. Rather than use BVN & relavant data from network providers to reach the masses

@SERAPNigeria Do well to investigate that. I think I heard in the news of funds released by WHO to that effect. I didn't ask because I was not sure coupled with the crisis of stay home, I never cared to search the internet. Please help us mark these guys. God be with you.
