Clearly I don’t know all the facts but if the NHL and World Juniors can take place, why couldn’t the Women’s World Championships happen? Maritimes likely the least affected area in North America? Let the Women play! Please tell me this isn’t just a revenue thing...Make it happen!
If you are blessed to live in a state or province allowing games to be played, then be thankful and remember many are living through hell wondering why they cannot compete. Perspective.
Legit question: is hockey on August 15th healthy for teens? Never mind love for the game. But seriously: does anyone have summer jobs? Or go canoeing / fishing anymore? Play baseball? Go to a rock festival? Is more really better? I wonder....
Advice to hockey parents: junior hockey is a business. You be the judge of what's best for your child. Not the agent / junior team staff. If you are a blue-chip player, okay, if not, wake up. Prep school offers solid opportunities that juniors don't. There's no rush. Graduate.
Today's U20 hockey culture has far too many mercenary agents and people saying what average player's want to hear...Go where you are wanted. Stay where you know the education is strong. Dominate and Gravitate. Enjoy being young and the things will fall into place. Believe.
Hockey is on - NHl, QMJHL, NCAA, but today my QC town removed the nets from the ODR. Why? How? Who in government will be the voice for children? Kids can go to school indoors but not play hockey outdoors. I’m just not understanding anymore; and ski lifts are full to capacity!
Special day to see my son Benjamin so excited to finally start school at Stanstead College in Grade 7. Keep being you and all the best for a great year Ben.

Watching fans outside in front of the bell Center partying with no masks and no distancing. Question for government: so we can start regular hockey on ice now indoors with 5 on 5 play....PLEASE...let the kids play. And not just summer private stuff - full regular stuff next year!
I try to keep this account to non personal stuff, but heck, I have to share this: My grandma turned 100 years old this week!!! Bonne-Fete grand-maman! Je t'aime! Impressive Witt with a practical Stubbornness, Strength and Discipline. Inspirational, and self-aware. Love you!
The HIP / Gord said “no dress rehearsal, this is our life.” I am pumped to be back at school working with an awesome group of people in the interest of giving our kids a great experience. No blueprint for these COVID days... get at it. Teach. Coach. Do your best.

Last night I was able to watch 9-10 year old soccer practice and was reminded of how amazing it is to see children playing sports again. No agents, no business, no politics, no money making: just smiles and kids having fun. Hope every kid out there is getting the opportunity.
Ten years ago today we lost the Great Pat Burns too soon. We are so thankful to be able to work with incredible kids in a building named after such a passionate and legendary coach; The PAT BURNS ARENA

J'étais optimiste que nous entendrions des nouvelles positives pour le retour au hockey, mais je suis maintenant déçu que le hockey soit oublié et que les décisions restent constamment incohérentes. Réalité: pas de changement significatif pour le hockey au QC. Let the kids play.
Habs Fan. Love the support from the thousands in the streets. As an administrator who planned through hell the past fifteen months, I remain completely confused on what can and cannot happen in QC. Open the doors...let people in the building. But let kids scrimmage on ice too.
Hey kids - you don't choose prep school for 1 sport! You choose your school based on academics, athletics and student life experience. And guess what, that school also chooses you. 2 way street. Long process - enjoy every day and strive for a great experience. Be positive!
Congrats to

What if kids worked on their school-work as much as they did on their sport? What are You doing when no one is watching. Education is the foundation for success. READ. Be academically curious. Think Critically. Push your academic limits. Set high goals.
If you tweet, be kind and share the good stuff. Life moves fast, changes on a dime and there’s no point in focusing on negative thoughts. Hugs. Love everyone. Go out and tell those who mean the world to you just how much you love them! Make someone smile by sharing good vibes.
This tweet isn’t political: just saying my heart goes out to all who were looking forward to competing in Halifax at the World’s next month. Special thoughts to our own Emma Kreisz, a
@stanstead1872
Grade 11 student-athlete who was to play for team Hungary.

The past year has taught me that life can change on a dime and without warning. Wishing all the best to everyone during this special time of year. Reach out to those you love and don't let go. I miss you mom.
Watching Corey Perry play in the bleu, Blanc, rouge was awesome. If he wants to play another here in MTL, Please bring him back. What a leader and classy role model for this team. Perry’s smarts, skill, toughness and net presence is as good as it gets. Thanks for everything CP!
The
@QMJHL
needs to review this and do a better job of supporting small market teams. This has happened time again for Baie-Comeau over the years. Imagine if this decision implicated Quebec or Halifax....Big name personalities would still be fighting back. Life ain't fair.
