@1followernodad I read another story recently from a woman who was scammed out of her life savings. I was assuming it was the same one, surprised it is not. I thought it was really brave to expose yourself, now I wonder if part of being a person who gets scammed is also over sharing.

@AshleyGWinter The thing that blew my mind about pregnancy was the placenta. You will produce an amazing tiny complicated human being. And a similarly sized organ that looks like a horror movie prop which will be thrown away. A whole 6lb organ! Into the trash it goes.

@TravisMayfield I disagree. Parking with the driver at the curb means you can’t see or be seen by on coming traffic. I’ve had close calls while riding my bike from cars parked like this. It’s a public street and needs to be safe for everyone.

For first time since the pandemic began, I packed kiddo onto my bike and rode downtown to the market. We got bread and flowers. We ate eclairs and sandwiches. We walked in the middle of the road like we owned the place. Wonderful reconnect with the city. I’ve missed it!

@robdelaney See a podiatrist. I tried to fix mine on my own for years only to find my tendons damaged beyond repair when I finally saw a dr. They will likely prescribe many of these suggestions, but custom orthotics made world of difference for me.
