Dan Andrews has allowed the Pride Parade to go ahead out of respect for 3% of the population.
Hmm. Is there a pattern forming?
When did minorities override minorities in a democracy?
I am getting a strong sense that Australians have had enough of dividing this country along race lines, with separate flags, newly invented traditions that must be pandered to at public events, preferential treatment under the law and with welfare. /2
If I remember correctly, Tony Abbott is the only PM, and probably the only MP, who spent a couple of weeks every year volunteering in remote Aboriginal schools and communities.
I'd suggest he probably has a better handle on the isssssues than many.
The Voice referendum apparently cost $365m.
Albo cancelled the building of two of four remote boarding schools in East Arnhem Land where the average attendance rate is just 8%, saying they couldn't all be built for $75m.

Imagine if today's revelations re Brittany Higgins involved a Liberal PM and front bench ministers. The ABC would be screaming for resignations from the rooftops.
Instead, silence. Not a single story on their website in the past 24hrs.
Starting to get it now?
If you won't stand by the Australian flag, you won't stand by the Australian people - and you have no place pretending you do by sitting in Parliament.
If this wasn’t Adam Bandt and the loathsome Faruqi, I’d be wondering if this was an AI ‘deep fake’ video. But it’s about what you’d expect from this pair of morons.
There's still a lot of things we don't know in the Bruce Lehrmann and Brittany Higgins matter, but one thing we know for sure, it was turned into a political hitjob on Reynolds and the Morrison government by Lisa Wilkinson and others.
Of that we can be quite sure.
"A 14-year-old boy trying to secure bail over terrorism-related charges appeared before the same court a fortnight earlier on gun possession charges."
So, what does the Judge do? Yes, of course. You guessed it. He granted him bail again.
Clementine Ford and Lidia Thorpe say we should 'pay the rent': 1% of weekly earnings.
One could argue that the 'rent' has already been paid: $30bn/yr plus billions more in mining royalties.
One could also be forgiven for thinking this is all about money.
So, when an Indigenous woman claims bullying from a white man, everyone piles on the 'racist' and 'misogynist' white man.
But when a *conservative* Indigenous woman like Jacinta Nampijinpa claims it of a far-Left rugby 'hero' like Peter FitzSimons, it's 'different'.
Got it?
Just a couple of thoughts about Dark Emu and the claims of 'villages of up to 1,000 people' and 'granaries':
- If they farmed grain, why did they stop?
- If they built houses, why did they stop?
- If they had houses, why didn't settlers take them over?
Simple logic. Next: /2

Imagine living in a country with vast reserves of coal, gas, uranium and, yes, sun, wind and hydro.
Now imagine having an energy crisis.
How can we be this dumb? Just how?
Opposition Indigenous Australians spokesperson Jacinta Nampijinpa Price tells reporter she believes colonisation does not impact on Indigenous Australians today.

I wonder if Lisa Wilkinson is quietly reflecting on the role she played in bringing so much attention to Brittany Higgins in the Bruce Lehrmann matter that it has resulted in her mental health problems and the aborting of the trial.
Nah. I doubt she has any self-doubt.
"Muslim groups say they were left in the dark over 'shock' Sydney counterterror raids."
What did they expect? No, seriously, what did they expect - the police to ask permission??
"Victorians facing criminal charges must now be asked if they identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islanders before their court cases can begin."
And there you were thinking everyone was equal under the law.
The great divide continues unabated.
Lidia Thorpe should resign from Parliament completely.
Imagine the baying for blood were she a Liberal after so many gaffes and so many hateful words and actions.
Perspective:
Australia spends around $34bn/yr on Aboriginal affairs for 3.2% of the population or just 812,000.
Nearly 100 countries have a GDP of $34bn/yr or less.
Some have populations of 20-40m people.

into where $30bn in government funds, as well as billions more in mining royalties, go before we spend one cent more on a Voice to Parliament, Treaty or Reparations.
Perhaps Lidia Thorpe's call for Australians to 'pay the rent' at 1% of householders' income might have a bit more credibility had she paid back her debts of $611,000 including to Indigenous Business Australia.
Perhaps.
"Going all electric will save a new home owner $1,000 off their energy bills..."
We have two gas HWS and a gas stove. Our monthly bill is $24.
You cannot tell me that electricity will be cheaper.
Where are the investigative journalists to debunk this?
An ex-pat friend who has spent the last 20yrs in the US, has returned for a few weeks and says he doesn't recognise Australia.
"When did it become so race-obsessed? Why are the media saying everyone's racist? What the hell happened?"
What, indeed.
If a Liberal PM had attended a wedding a with convicted drug smuggler and a notorious former Kings Cross nightclub owner, the ABC and the Left media would be apoplectic.
But he's a Labor PM, so it's OK.

Jacinta Nampijinpa Price was asked about intergenerational trauma.
My own view is that intergenerational trauma is more likely to be caused by decades of unemployment, poverty, overcrowded houses, drugs, alcohol, and the hopelessness of reliance on welfare than events 200yrs ago
I see there is an outpouring of grief for Brittany Higgins having to go through another trial in February.
Perhaps there should also be concerns for the same reasons for Bruce Lehrmann who is still at this at stage presumed innocent.
Is it time to start demanding proof?
"Genealogical researchers for the Dark Emu Exposed website have recently completed a family tree for Mr Maher going back up to six generations and found no Aboriginal ancestors." /2
Yesterday, I reported that had not run a single story on the Melbourne protests by 5pm.
I have today now searched every story SINCE 5pm to this moment and still not a single story on the ABC's website.
Not one.
Now, just let that sink in for a moment.
Albo continues: "I had to walk 73 miles to school in bare feet in the snow at 4am. Lunch was whatever bugs I could find in the playground. 'Sport' was Ms. Hilda thrashing us with bike chains. After school, I worked in the coal mines until 3am. My pet dog was made of Playdoh"
"When pressed by Ms Nampijinpa Price, he [the NIAA representative] conceded the monetary figure attached to those 15 fraud investigations totals $12m."
Looks like ATSIC 2.0 You'd think we would have learned by now.

Kerry O'Brien: “If this fails, we are a failure as a nation. Gullible, uninformed and ultimately stupid.”
The left have nothing but sneering contempt for their fellow countrymen.
What sad, bitter and nasty people they are.
If Albo really wanted to help remote-living Aborigines, he'd heed Jacinta Nampijinpa Price's call for an audit into where billions in funding are being wasted, because they sure as hell aren't going where they're needed.
If not, we need to ask why not.

And another damned thing while I'm fired up about the NRL Pride round: it is NOT helpful to gay people.
All it does is treat us 'special' and somehow deserving of special acknowledgement. We're not. We're 3% of the population and no more or less deserving than anyone else. /2

I see the left is turning on Jacinta Nampijinpa Price again.
Imagine that. Turning on both a woman and an Aborigine.

One wonders why so silent after so many reports from Kimberley Kitchin about being bullied.
But I guess they only care when they can score political points.
Sorry, WHO wanted their Voice heard??
Just 1,048 out of 27,534 Aborigines in South Australia voted for their representatives in the Voice to parliament.
How can this possibly be representative? How easily can it be hijacked?
If they can't be bothered to vote, why have it?
What $30m/yr buys in an Aboriginal-controlled organisation: declining meetings, failing to deliver services adequately, allowing a convicted domestic violence offender to sit on its board, 300 'employees' and no annual reports since 2018.

Dear Prime Minister
@AlboMP
,
With a yes or no answer, did you or did you not meet with Brittany Higgins and/or David Sharaz and, if so, what was discussed?
You have previously said you spoke to neither. Are you saying David Sharaz is lying?
The Project interviews a woman who was asked to leave a comedy performance because her baby was crying and asks that her crying baby be removed so she can be interviewed.
Bloody hilarious. QED.

There's a time and place for everything. The trouble is: the ABC doesn't seem to know the time nor the place.
Also, if you tuned into the ABC, what did you seriously expect, especially with Stan Grant and Craig Foster??
Last night's Q&A:
Stan Grant to Kieran Perkins: "Kieran, you're a white man running sport. Are you a part of the problem?"
Then: "What are you doing to make sure the person coming after you isn't another white man?"
I am gob-smacked.
The ABC is hell-bent on dividing us.
OK, just so we're clear: the DPP dropped Brittany Higgins' case due to fears over her wellbeing, but she considers herself well enough to endure a gruelling million-dollar compensation case?
There's something not right here. /2
Just a reminder, folks: Melbourne/Narrm/Naarm wasn't stolen.
It was purchased from 'traditional owners'. As such, it no longer belongs to them. Why should we have to give it back?
Compare the pair:
Scomo transfers ministerial powers to himself in a pandemic in case ministers are incapacitated: Twitter and the media go crazy.
Dan Andrews transfers powers from the Chief Health Officer to the Health Minister and himself: not an eyebrow raised. /2
Why were Evonne Goolagong, Cathy Freeman and Lionel Rose regarded as sporting heroes and not booed?
Because, it would seem, we hadn't invented racism back then.
Five black police officers, whose Police Chief is black, in a majority black city, are accused of racism and white supremacy in the death of a black man.
We have reached peak Loony Left. And their delusional arguments are now fully exposed and in tatters.
‘Vote ‘No’ and you won’t get a welcome to country again’
Oh? So we won't have to pay someone to welcome us to our own country in a modern-day 'ancient' ceremony invented in the 70s?
Wishful thinking aside, there's more /2
As many who follow my posts know, I spent a lot of time in Aboriginal communities and towns.
And there's one thing that still haunts me to this day: the blood-curdling sound of women screaming at night.
Nothing prepares you for that. And it stays with you forever. /2
Why has the ABC chosen not to report this latest incident of Lidia Thorpe's appalling behaviour?
Surely it's time for an MP to be sacked for bringing the Parliament into disrepute.
And for the ABC to stop playing favourites.
Why doesn't the Australian $50 note have a warning that it contains an image of David Unaipon, a deceased Aboriginal person, which may cause offence or distress to some Aboriginal people?
I can see why some are upset and calling it a lie that Tony Abbott spent time in remote Aboriginal community schools when there is so little evidence, like pics of him with kids in different locations and school uniforms.
