Unlike Brathwaite and Tewatia, Rinku won't be remembered as that guy who hit 5 sixes an over. It wasn't a fluke or him having a good day. He's genuinely skilled enough to keep doing such things and achieve even bigger things.

Resting Bumrah wasn't the problem. He has played 5 Tests in a row and you should be able to win games in India with Ashwin, Jadeja, Kuldeep, Siraj. You have to admit that the team has just failed. There are more important or concerning aspects. Talk about them.

That Rohit Sharma innings is key again. India haven't scored a boundary in nearly 7 overs but the run rate is still above 6. It lets these two rebuild the innings at their own pace without worrying about the scoring rate.

This could actually be a result of them producing more fast bowlers. Since they have so many options to choose from, they have the luxury of replacing anyone who fails with someone who has similar skillsets. And Pak are known for being impatient if I'm not wrong.

India haven't yet reached the point where they can add batting depth without compromising bowling quality. Shardul & Chahar don't add much value outside the powerplay. If Washi bats at 8, they can't play an attacking spinner. They just don't have the right resources at this point

India is still the best T20I team in the world in terms of skills and personnel. This unsuccessful world cup campaign is down to bad planning, poor tactics and some plain bad luck.

Man, cricket fans are so reactionary and result-oriented. They just can't judge a decision/event by isolating it from the result. Their judgements are heavily influenced by the result. Casuals take this to a whole different level.

With all due respect to Dube & Uthappa, RCB could've prevented this. Almost 15 overs of horrible captaincy and horrible bowling. RCB fans should just forget this and move on. This isn't a reflection of their true potential.

Get used to this Gill-Yashasvi partnership. We might see it very often in the future across formats.
