Republicans’ messaging bills are a distraction from work that our constituents sent us here to do. Their fear mongering is a political stunt designed to scare consumers when we should be working together to find common sense solutions to the issues that really matter to Americans

Happy Great Lakes Awareness Day! For thousands of years and across generations, no other freshwater system in the world has inspired greater economic prosperity or quality of life than our Great Lakes. We must continue working to protect them for generations to come.

Every American, no matter their ZIP code, deserves access to quality health care. We must invest in programs to expand access to health care & services in rural America to close this gap.

A year ago, @UMich_football visited DC and we discussed never taking our freedom and democracy for granted, the importance of civility, relationships, and disagreeing agreeably. It was great to spend time with this hardworking team, and I hope they get to visit again soon!

Thanks to @POTUS , Michigan is receiving $62 million for lead pipe replacements, bringing us closer to our goal of replacing all lead service lines within 10 yrs. No amount of lead in drinking water is safe & I will continue working to address this crisis.
