Our Officers completed their leg of the Law Enforcement Memorial Run- 11.2 miles from Schurz, NV to the Lyon County line. They carried a baton with the names of every Officer killed in the line-of-duty in Nevada. The run begins in Las Vegas and finishes in Carson City.

Patrolman Ross Peterson EOW: 9/11/31 Patrolman Ross Peterson was shot and killed when he interrupted two burglars at Reno High School. Two suspects broke into the building. They open fired and Patrolman Peterson was shot five times during the incident.
