With no consultation, London Young Labour plans to join Rebecca Long-Bailey’s leadership campaign. There is no precedent for this, we’ve endorsed candidates but never joined a campaign. LYL should be welcoming to all members, not picking factions. It’s divisive and unnecessary.

A reminder to everyone who wants to see change in the Labour Party on antisemitism. Corbyn’s departure is not the sole solution, celebrating the change in leadership as this fails to grasp the magnitude of a structural problem. It’s not just about one man, it’s institutional.

@RebeccaFiler @mrwtch I will be making a complaint against yourself as well. Re red Roar (a) they are covered by no regulator (b) nobody knows who they actually are (c) they have no complaints process. They are not a media outlet, they are a campaign of harassment. You are also now a part of that.

Fighting antisemitism should not come at the expense of the struggles of other minority groups. Erasing one to raise another is not how we fight hate - we do that by uniting and supporting each other. That Jeremy Corbyn t-shirt is a case in point.

I’m glad Ken Loach is no longer a Labour member. Loach, amongst many things, actively supports Labour Against the Witchhunt, a proscribed group who deny antisemitism in the Labour Party, said the Holocaust was up for debate and continually supports Chris Williamson.

That just isn’t how the process of voting for select committee chairs work 🤦‍♀️ Whether the chair is Tory or Labour is already chosen. You can only pick Tories for the Defence Select Committee, that’s how it works...

I’m really quite surprised to see @JessicaLBarnard speaking on a panel in a Young Labour capacity with a Jewish Voice for Labour representative. Surely you know JVL deny antisemitism in the Labour Party and knowingly defend antisemites?
