Never thought I would see this. @RailOpsGroup to the rescue. 47815 rescues failed 1E04 Edinburgh-KX. 91106 failed at Hambleton Jnc & 47815 was loitering in Gascoigne Wood, got the call to be Thunderbird & took it to Doncaster. Train was terminated 207 mins late 07/07/20

British Railways Prototype Railbus RB004 stabled on the former Waverley Route at Whitrope. Speaking to two gentlemen on site they confirmed it does fire up and was started about 3 weeks ago. This is the first time I have seen this unit. Very interesting concept. 27/05/22

They say photography is about patience. When getting shots on the mainline technology helps to minimise the waiting around for something. The ability to track something to within a few minutes of arrival gives that reassurance you will get the shot..
